## What is PictoNexo?

PictoNexo is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tool designed to support everyday expression and communication through pictograms.

It allows users to build messages visually, play spoken phrases, and customize the communication board according to each person’s needs and preferences.

With PictoNexo, you can:

• Communicate using clear pictograms organized by category.
• Build and play phrases easily.
• Save and use quick phrases.
• Customize a favorites bar for fast access to the most frequently used pictograms.
• Rearrange pictograms and adapt the communication board.
• Adjust pictogram size.
• Create custom pictograms using images from the camera or photo gallery.
• Record custom audio for new pictograms.
• Use the app in Spanish or English.
• Protect configuration tools with Caregiver Mode.

PictoNexo is designed for people of different ages who benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems, including autistic people, people with speech difficulties, and other users who rely on visual supports to communicate.

The interface is designed to keep communication accessible and straightforward, reducing unnecessary elements and allowing the board to be adapted to each user.

User customizations are stored locally on the device.

PictoNexo aims to help each person express what they need, think, and feel in a simpler and more personal way.
