I did the update and nothing changed. ### 2/5 — Good concept but bad game *2026-09-01, version 7.1.0* Look I know I’m not an expert, I have only played for a day but it has given me so many unskipable ads that don’t even do anything. If you want a good nonagram game I suggest meow tower ### 3/5 — It's ok but doesn't let you go far unless you buy or take surveys *2026-08-30, version 7.1.0* It starts off giving you enough tokens to play but you get to a level that unless you pay or take surveys you only have enough coins to play 1-2 rounds a day. Sometimes they give you more but you can't just put it down and go do something else for an hour and come back to play another round. You will not have enough coins s until the next day or you spend money or take a survey. I am now looking for another version after trying it for 3 months. ### 2/5 — Used to be better *2026-08-28, version 7.1.0* It’s far too long between updates. This has been the case for ages. You push us to play for rewards, but rarely give new levels. The huge mosaics are far too easy and give no challenge (no temptation to pay the high fee for easy levels). To “celebrate” your 10th anniversary, you dumbed down the game. Such a shame as it was a favourite for years. Update - I wrote this in late February and thank you for your reply. A few days later, two more puzzles were added, but none since and now I’ve finished the mosaics and the puzzles (which I only do when I’ve nothing else, to pick up the daily rewards). However hand crafted they are, I feel you should manage more than two in six months. I’ve no objection to playing puzzles for daily rewards, by the way, I see you’ve had complaints but it seems fair to me. I often get points in return for an ad, you just need to be canny about spending them. ### 2/5 — Update from “Great game, not too many ads” *2026-08-26, version 7.1.0* I can’t get through a move hardly without another quick ad. Way too many!!! If this doesn’t change immediately, I’m dumping it. That’s too bad because I loved it and played it for years now! Former review - “I play this almost daily. The ads do no interfere and I have no complaints! You used to could spend your coins to earn token but they have taken that option away as well. Money hungry! I would have given 4 or 5 stars but I am at the end and I am only offered the color version… WITHOUT INSTRUCTIONS. And no, it’s not an easy version to figure out. And for the last couple of months the ads have been like pop ups that slide down while I’m making a move. At least let me finish my puzzle like before. I just don’t like the changes. I did the update and nothing changed. ### 4/5 — Token Problem *2026-08-13, version 7.1.0* I absolutely love this game to bits! I can’t seem to ever get off of it. My only complain is that I genuinely don’t understand why game creators construct a time block on levels, with tokens being the form in this game. I have eventual waves every now and again where I pick up this app again. When I do, I spend over an hour filling out survey after survey to scrape up any tokens I can get my hands on. I mean, to be blunt, why would you want the users of the app to be able to play endlessly? I would be playing this way more and potentially even spend money on this game if there wasn’t the token wall. It gets annoying running out of tokens and having to fill out survey forever and ever to scrape up enough to complete like ten puzzles. I really really really want to give this game a complete five stars but just simply can not because it feels as though it punishes me for progressing and playing the game. I hope this is resolved. Either through increasing the amount of tokens won or making puzzles cheaper, or completely eradicating the token concept entirely— I’m here for it. Incredibly fun and addicting game though. ### 2/5 — Latest update frustrating *2026-08-12, version 7.1.0* They’ve changed how you get your coins for coming back each day and managed to break it. It used to be when you opened the app you got your bonus coins straight away. Now you have to complete a puzzle. This isn’t ideal but even worse when it doesn’t actually recognise that you have in fact completed a puzzle! This is fine if you have plenty of coins already built up, but it you only have the 10 coins, and already done all the levels for that amount, you can’t complete one. Please bring back the old way or at least fix the bug that doesn’t always recognise you have played! ### 3/5 — Great at it’s core games *2026-08-10, version 7.1.0* Unfortunately, when you’ve solved all available Nonograms, you’re left with weird puzzles that have absolutely no instructions on how to play them. Picture Cross responded with, “There are two packs of color nonogram puzzles in the game; this is a variant of classic nonograms. The instructions for these can be found through the in-game playing guide or through our FAQ website:” Maybe but not clear to me. I’m at PICTURE CROSS ARCADE and the first game “Wild Animals” is formatted differently than the hundreds of nonograms I’ve played and I have no idea how to play this one. With the new daily reward system needing you to do a puzzle to get the reward, it makes it harder to stockpile tokens which makes it hard for when i actually want to play. And when you finish all of the 10 and under token puzzles, you need to reward before you can continue, you shouldnt have to replay a level before you actually get to have fun. The “big puzzle” style with themes is a nice framing for nonograms and makes it way more engaging than just basic levels. Also the ads aren’t very intrusive and I will gladly watch one for double tokens every time. The token mechanic can be slightly annoying (since you need them to play new levels) but you can always replay old levels (of which there are eventually hundreds) to get them. Since there truly are a bajillion puzzles, it would be cool to see other game modes like rectangles or colors to mix things up. ### 5/5 — Go to nonogram puzzle game *2026-08-11, version 7.1.0* Simple & satisfying. No way to stop the annoying mid-game ads other than turn down the sound on your device. Other than that, it’s an alright game. Update: The developer reached out to me and showed me how to report the ads that were causing the issue.
