## What is Picture Dots?

Introducing Picture Dots, the youngest member of the Noticing Tools family, for young learners and grownups, on iPhone and iPad. 
 
Notice, Play, and Explore your world with Picture Dots! 

Take pictures of things you do in your everyday life and use these pictures to have fun conversations about what you notice. Add colorful dots to your picture that allow you to type text, assign music notes or silly sounds, and record noises. 
  
With Picture Dots you can: 
-Upload photos from your camera roll, or take new photos.
-Use four interactive colored dots to classify, count, label, and notice patterns.
-Assign a musical notes or silly sounds to the dots. 
-Record a noise.
-Type words in English or Spanish.
-Hear the app playback your creation.
-Edit your creations by deleting dots, moving dots, or changing sounds.
-Save and email your creations.

Ideal for parents, caregivers, and educators of early learners, Picture Dots connects to early literacy, early math, and early science skills by pairing meaningful making activities with an open-ended, playful learning tool.
 
Educators can use Picture Dots to engage learners in practicing early learning skills by integrating Picture Dots with fun, hands-on activities such as interacting with books, making predictions in a science experiment, or creating patterns with natural materials.
