What's New in Picture Talks

3.0

October 3, 2026

Picture Talk 3.0 is rebuilt from the ground up for today's iPhone and iPad. • Talking spots now show where to tap in the player, so your child always knows what to touch. • Everything saves automatically. There's no Save button, and nothing gets lost. • Recording is simpler: tap Done, even while recording, and your voice is kept. • No recording yet? Picture Talk reads the word aloud, and you can pick the voice in Help. • A new full-screen player with page swiping, Play All, and a close button that only works when a grown-up holds it. • A new editor with undo and redo, copy and paste, 8 colors and 8 fonts. Words stay the right size on every screen. • A sample book, a short intro and tips to help you get started. • Works on every iPhone and iPad size, in any orientation, with VoiceOver and larger text. Your Picture Talk 2 presentations and recordings are converted into books automatically the first time you open 3.0.

Want to share and save backups.

Really nice app does what it says but it needs ways to save in different collections, share with other phones or create an interactive pdf of collection. Some way to make full use.

Impossible - scam

I do not see how to create what is shown in the example - it will save a photo and record sound and you can type in a word but they are not saved - when you view it, all it does it bring up the picture - neither the word you typed in nor the sound you recorded are there. And certainly there was no way to create the sample picture with multiple words labeling one photo. In short, it doesn't work. I'm annoyed that I wasted a dollar.

You must figure this out on your own

Creators: some advice to improve this app..... Once installed, you should walk users through making an audiobook . We goofed many times and still have no idea what we were doing wrong or correct. One, there is no instruction whatsoever. There is simply a help button. Buttons should be able to be moved or edited as you don't know what you are doing except by trial and error. How do you make an additional book? With some minor edits, this would be a decent app. Now have several pictures and one connects them all......but how do I then make another book. The only options are NeW and help......
