If you are not in a app where the taxi can get you, it’s just says no service, unlike the Uber app which tells you where to walk to pick up the taxi. Same on the other end — if where you are going is a pedestrian walkway, it won’t try to get you close. We couldn’t pay with the app, but not a big problem, just inconvenient. This app made San Sebastián much harder to negotiate. ### 2/5 — Useful but stressful, causing constant mix-ups *2026-07-18, version 7.7.7* Pide Taxi fills a real gap in Gran Canaria since there’s no Uber/Bolt/Cabify here, so I wanted to like it. But it caused problems almost every day. You’re forced to register a debit/credit card, but the app then ends up being cash only, which was misleading. A massive safety issue is that drivers arrive that don’t match who they’re meant to be. Multiple times a taxi arrived, confirmed my name and destination out loud, but wasn’t the vehicle assigned to me on the app. I think it means multiple drivers and vehicles are sharing a single driver account. I also think the app allows people to double book the same cab. Once, a taxi I’d booked from across the island turned up matching the exact plate and description, then drove past me to a rank down the road and picked up a different family instead. After running over and showing everyone the confirmation on my phone that this was my taxi, I was made to feel like I was talking to a brick wall. The driver insisted that the other family were first, even though my app showed the journey as “started” with me as the passenger. Nobody would listen, and then they just drove off. Standing there with people who’d clearly been queuing a long time, I felt like an entitled tourist trying to jump the line, which was mortifying since that’s the opposite of what happened. Twenty minutes later I got a “ride completed” notification and spent ages worrying I’d be charged for a journey I never took. It works when it works, but you can’t rely on it, and safety is a massive concern. ### 2/5 — Mal servicio *2026-07-17, version 7.7.7* Nunca aceptan los viajes por la aplicación muy mal servicio ### 2/5 — Falla demasiado *2026-07-07, version 7.7.7* Solicito un viaje hasta El Corte Inglés de Castellana, me lo aceptan, llega el taxista y me dice que voy a un sitio completamente distinto. Le explico que no y le enseño la aplicación donde claramente pone que yo solicito correctamente el viaje. Llama al servicio técnico y le dicen que es que yo lo he pedido mal, a lo que el hombre contesta que no, que acaba de ver mi aplicación y el viaje está correctamente solicitado. La mujer responde de manera bastante desagradable que soy una particular así que que ponga el taxímetro y vuelve a repetir que me he equivocado, aunque se ve claramente que no. En esta situación yo pago en efectivo, así que se ha puesto el taxímetro y ya, pero mucha gente pone la tarjeta y paga un precio cerrado, por lo que estos errores de LA APLICACIÓN, pueden costar dinero a mucha gente. ### 1/5 — No funciona *2026-07-03, version 7.7.7* No abre, lo se puede hacer login, etc ### 1/5 — awful experience *2026-06-30, version 7.7.7* Absolutely awful experience with PideTaxi. I was waiting at the correct pick-up point, but the driver cancelled the booking and I was still charged. Nobody called or messaged to explain what was happening, and there was no attempt to contact me before cancelling. As a result, I was left stranded and nearly missed my train home. The whole experience was stressful, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this app. You’re better off using Uber or simply getting a taxi from a taxi rank. Trate de pedir ayuda com un taxi participante en la estacion de tren de cordoba y el tipo tenía una actitud que parece que llevaba en periodo dos días. No tienen ni para darle review a sus choferes y por eso mismo hacen lo que les da la gana. Por ESO eata app tiene un rating mierdisimo. Aprendan de negocios antes de hacer mierdas que non trabajan bien. ### 1/5 — Muy mala app *2026-06-12, version 7.7.7* No sé si la app no funciona bien solo en IPhone. Pero en mi caso, se cierra sola, es muy lenta, se bloquea… etc. No utilicéis para hacer reservas, mejor llamar por teléfono. Yo he cancelado una reserva, me apareció “reserva cancelada”, revise que no hubiera más reservas y a la hora en la que estaba echa, apareció un taxi en la puerta. ### 1/5 — Horrible App for Horrible Service *2026-06-05, version 7.7.7* I used this app to get a taxi to the Avis car rental at Granada airport. The driver dropped us off at the wrong place insisting that it was the right location even though I had provided the exact location in the app. What’s the purpose of this app if the drivers do not follow the destination provided to the app? Moreover, the driver charged my credit card himself even though the card was provided in the app. Again, what does this app even do? I wanted to leave an appropriate rating for my experience for the driver, but the app did not let me leave a review! Nada recomendable. *2026-05-29, version 7.7.7* Una estrella porque no se pueden poner cero. El servicio es absolutamente lamentable. Para empezar, la aplicación está malísima: no incluye ningún número de teléfono visible para contactar con atención al cliente cuando lo necesitas. Tienes que pedir el taxi "a ciegas" porque la interfaz no muestra de forma clara el estado de la solicitud; no sabes si el coche viene, si el viaje está aceptado o qué está pasando. Curiosamente, el teléfono de soporte solo aparece mágicamente una vez que el vehículo ya se ha puesto en marcha. Para colmo, la gestión de las reservas es un caos. Cancelé un viaje con 30 minutos de antelación y el sistema, por un fallo evidente, lo mantuvo activo en su reserva. Cuando llamé para solucionar el malentendido, la teleoperadora que me atendió, de muy malas formas, me soltó la mentira de que yo no había cancelado nada. En lugar de ofrecer una solución o revisar el error de su propia app, se dedicó a amenazarme con aplicarme sanciones. Una falta de respeto total al cliente y una aplicación que no funciona.
