## What is Pieced?

A journey through art history, one masterpiece at a time.

Pieced is a cozy drag-and-drop puzzle game built around a few of the most famous paintings across different art epochs. Restore masterpieces by connecting scattered pieces on by one. When two correct neighbours touch, they merge. Keep going until the full painting is revealed.

Puzzle through different art epochs
Work your way through the Renaissance, Baroque, Impressionism, and beyond. Each epoch features 20 hand-picked paintings and its own ambient soundtrack that matches the painting and era.

Five difficulty levels
Choose your challenge: from a relaxing grid to a demanding expert puzzle. Earn more Curator Rank points at greater difficulties and chase your best completion times.

Become a curator
Climb from Visitor to Museum Keeper as you earn rank points. Master entire epochs by completing every painting, and track your progress on your personal curator profile.

Learn while you play
Every completed puzzle reveals the painting's title, artist, year, and a brief story. Tap "More Info" for deeper context: medium, provenance, artist biography, and the epoch that shaped the work.

Unique soundscapes
Each epoch has its own ambient music. Satisfying sound effects accompany every drag, merge, and completion.

Designed to be calm
No ads. No energy systems. No countdown timers pressuring you. The optional puzzle timer pauses when you leave and picks up where you left off. Play at your own pace.
All paintings are in the public domain. Two collections are free to play; additional epochs can be unlocked individually or as a complete bundle.
