## What is PieceSprint?

PieceSprint is a private, offline-first race timer designed for physical jigsaw practice. It keeps puzzles, participants, stage splits, and every result in one focused workflow.

• Use built-in stages for sorting, edges, sections, and final fit
• Record start, pause, resume, split, penalty, DNF, and finish events
• Protect results from accidental taps with deliberate confirmations
• Search and filter history by date, mode, piece count, and status
• Compare personal bests, trends, and average stage times
• Reuse participant rosters and stage templates
• Export CSV and create previewed, validated JSON backups
• Protect local data with atomic writes, a last-good copy, and corrupt-file quarantine

Core timing stays free, with no ads, analytics, or tracking. The free tier supports 5 active puzzles, 3 participant rosters, and 20 completed or DNF attempts. A one-time PieceSprint Pro purchase—not a subscription—unlocks unlimited puzzles, rosters, and attempts, custom stage templates, complete insights, CSV export, and JSON backup and import. Restore Purchases recovers Pro on devices using the same Apple ID.

Your puzzle and timing records stay on this device by default. Only feedback you explicitly send and screenshots you select use the network. After a purchase, the app anonymously sends Apple-signed transaction evidence and a random installation identifier to the ApplyAI API to verify entitlement; puzzle and timing records are never included.

PieceSprint records timer actions and results that you choose. It does not certify official competition results, automatically detect physical puzzle progress, or verify participant identity.
