Easy to use and when in the SEARCH function, I can easily locate other beacons. Every year, I take a refresher course that includes beacon drills where I get to see several brands in action. PIEPS beacons are always performing! When I launch the app the Home Screen appears for a second then goes blank. I contacted BD, they seemed concerned but then nothing from them. Just tried the latest update same problem. ### 1/5 — Does not work for DSP Sport *2021-03-03* Why not state on the app, which models it works for, then I wouldn’t have wasted the time downloading it and trying to get it to work ### 2/5 — Product Quality Makes this Beacon Untrustworthy *2022-11-15, version 3.8.0* I don’t trust this beacon before and after recall. Went through the functions after the recall, but seems to be working normal still. Using the app to further the diagnosis check on the recalled functions. Given the track record of recalls on beacons slides and now search and send failures I would not recommend using this beacon to any client or friend. I’ve practiced with this beacon and many others multiple times a week during my guide season, and it works great (until it doesn’t). Not a risk I’m willing to take with others lives and my own at risk.
