Does not let you add in lower tier pics and restricts what moves you can add to only the most used. Also struggles with VoiceOver accessibility, which I am locked into due to my visual impairment. ### 4/5 — Love it, However *2026-05-27* Sometimes it feels a small bit laggy, which is mostly fine but when I'm rushing to check speed tiers in the middle of a match it can be stressful. Also the teambuilder aspect feels lacking relative to the free web version I'm used to, which I still use sometimes. I had bought the app hoping to use all the features from the website without adds. I would happily spend more money to have those features as a new competitive player. Each mon only has 10 moves to choose from. I couldn’t even make my team because I want air cutter on Mega Dragonite and dragon cheer on Dragapult but I couldn’t put either of those moves on those pokemon. Why? ### 1/5 — Slow to update!! *2026-06-21, version 2.3.2* I’m so upset I bought this. It’s not quite up to date for Champions and limits what skills I can add. For example I added Volcarona and could not add quiver dance. The heck?? I’m literally using quiver dance on my volcarona in the current regulations (MB) ### 1/5 — Missing pokemon *2026-06-21, version 2.3.2* It’s fine if you want to build a team like everyone else, but if you want to think outside the box it’s missing pokemon that are in the game. Off the bat, it’s champions reg m-b is missing noivern, beedrill, chimecho, luxray, roserade,and leafeon. I understand that these pokemon aren’t used a lot but a team builder should have every pokemon you can use, otherwise it’s inherently limiting and flawed. ### 1/5 — ??? *2026-04-22, version 1.3.0* The Pikalytics website has more features and is more convenient, no reason to buy the app ### 1/5 — Stick to the Website. *2026-04-09* Honestly it hurts to give this app a One Star review but it is fully deserving. The app hasn’t been updated in 10 months now which is a lifetime for competitive Pokémon play. It’s missing regulations and obviously the play data which is what we are using Pikalytics to find out! The website is free and in much much better condition. Stick to the website. ### 1/5 — Too much focus on Showdown *2025-04-27, version 1.2.9* If you don't play Showdown, half this app is useless. The ranked closed team sheet meta is far different, limiting this app's utility if you are trying to compete in Ranked or Japan PJCS, for example. Needs to pull more relevant data from switch, like tera type percentages etc. I prefer the HOME app even though it's also limited. ### 1/5 — Would give zero stars if possible *2024-10-12, version 1.2.9* Not an app that is consistently updated. The information it displays is lackluster. If you click a move in a move set it won’t tell you what the move does. I have found that opening Pikalytics in a web browsers works much much better.
