### 1/5 — YEARS of art, GONE!!

*2019-12-06*

Went to unwind as usual making art in Pikazo and was suckerpunched in the gut as I realized the app had updated and all my art was gone! Tried to log in, but it doesn’t recognize me. I feel betrayed. The company claims they posted warnings. Ok. Where?? I opened the app on average every other day. Why didn’t a warning appear then?

You’ve ripped a large piece of creativity right out of my heart. Treating your longtime users like this tells me your new venture is likely to fail. Your current rating agrees with me.

Shame on you, Pikazo. Greed, incompetence, or both.

### 1/5 — Bad update

*2019-11-17*

Lost tokens, I can’t find where I can reuse some recent styles I uploaded (if I can at all), more clicks to change transparency of a filter, can’t find a way to have my works automatically saved. What exactly was the improvement?

### 1/5 — If it ain’t broke

*2019-11-15*

Fix it until it is. Glad the original is back. If they wanted to make Pikazo better, fixing image quality would be far more useful.

The UI could use a lot of work, too. Oh, well.

### 1/5 — My user ID disappeared

*2019-11-13, version 4.0*

Useless now since new version requires me to enter email and PW. Was using since 2016, but I don’t remember my user or PW so now seems all saved images are lost. Sad!

### 4/5 — Love the app

*2019-07-03*

I have bought tokens but they seem to disappear without using them. Apple confirms that I’ve paid for them but they are not credited to my token account. I want to purchase enhancements and the program says I am low in tokens. Help!!

### 3/5 — This app has actual art potential but it currently falls short

*2019-03-01*

Firstly, I actually bought all the additional style packs but one. The styles say high definition readymade templates. This can be assumed by many people as the styles are ALREADY signature level detailed templates...they are not. That’s an additional charge each level of sharpness you want. Wahhh? Seriously?

Second, the level of “AI” is a slider lol. You can see where your original line in an abstract digital painting for example was. It’s a filter. Pikazo styles get extremely similar the more you edit with the app. That’s awful when the templates CAN be much more amazing.

Thirdly, almost every app now has layers, offer double exposure options, ACTUAL filter editing (HSL, opacity, contrast etc etc)...and more. We want REAL editing options. Make OUR art not look the literal same as everyone else’s.

Printing is a cool idea but again not if the picture isn’t sharp. Charging us more is outright ridiculousness.

Make a REAL update please.

### 3/5 — To joesdamaan

*2018-09-22, version 3.4*

Some photo combinations, for some reason, produce no photo result or a photo that hardly looks any different. Contact the developers and submit the photos you used, maybe they can tell you why or try them themselves. They seem to be very willing to try to solve problems. The developers have seen this same thing themselves and can't really explain why it happens. Possibly your photo combination was too complex to be merged, or the backgrounds were too similar. Good luck.

App update, 9/21/18—I downloaded the update, and am sad to find that the photo submissions of others using Pikazo is no longer present as a viewable in-app option. I don’t like the “Museum” option; it’s not the same thing at all. Definitely a downgrade as far as I’m concerned. (The feature I want back is the Salon. Your photos show it still being present on the screenshots, but it isn’t.)

### 1/5 — Updated - can’t restore packs

*2018-08-25*

Recently updated and now almost all of the packs I purchased are now showing up as not purchased. That I need to purchase again. Can’t restore and customer service has no solution and the “contact” button on makes he app crash. And without being able to use the contact button. They have no access to your account to help. The button to purchase more jetsons works though.

Really disappointed

### 3/5 — Most sophisticated A.I. art app

*2018-07-27*

I tried all the artificial intelligence art apps that let me alter my photos and found this to be the most sophisticated. It's amazing how it uses an art image source of my own paintings, too, to alter a photo I shot or found on the web.
However the enhancement process can take too long or force you to delete and start over.

### 2/5 — Great results, horrible render times

*2018-07-13, version 3.3.1*

The results are among the best I've seen for any algorithmic interpolation approach, but the lack of instant gratification can be a buzzkill.

### 1/5 — Overpriced!

*2017-11-04, version 3.3.1*

At $2.00 PER PICTURE in high res mode, this is WAY OVERPRICED! Deleting this program now...

### 1/5 — Slow to load

*2017-09-21, version 3.2.3*

Switched to Prisma.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Nothing generated

*2024-06-26*

I paid for tokens and tried to make some of the pictures into high res versions. Several hours later and it’s still just spinning and doesn’t generate the image I paid for.

### 1/5 — Froze then had to delete

*2023-10-26, version 4.0.7*

This app does not work as it says

### 1/5 — Broken

*2023-02-17, version 4.0.7*

When you use tokens to purchase a high res version of any image created, this image will NOT be able to be saved to your camera roll or sent anywhere at all…it will instead appear as a BLANK IMAGE both in your camera roll and wherever you try and send it. THIS PROGRAM IS COMPLETELY BROKEN!!! DO NOT USE!! They have failed to fix this glaring issue and so I must sound the siren REEEOOOO REEEOOOO REEEEEEOOOOOO warning you that Pikazo is a ripoff!!! REEEEOOOO! Ripoff alert!!!

### 1/5 — Processing time

*2021-11-23*

I have waited 30+ minutes for an image to process…. Still waiting.

### 1/5 — Ruined a good thing

*2021-08-30*

The technology is nice but it’s behind a pay wall and then the times I tried the pay feature, it stole my money and didn’t produce the Hd image. ZERO stars

### 1/5 — Changes isn’t always good

*2020-09-19*

I hadn’t been using the app for several months, though it was one of my top art apps. I just tried it today. Not only is the UI terrible, but my I can’t log into my old account. I even tried password recovery and it won’t let me even so that.

I created a new account and discovered I can no longer use another photo to use as the style. I used to be able to create new pieces from old pieces or textures I found online.

There is no app help built into the software, so I can’t even tell if that was a premium feature or not. Not going to spend a dime on this now.

Found the classic version is still available. Downloaded that and I’m happy.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2020-01-22, version 4.0.3*

Takes ages to edit a photo, and the effects are awful.

### 1/5 — Ok,

*2020-01-13, version 4.0.2*

This WILL give you malware

### 1/5 — App exposes info to the world

*2019-12-22, version 4.0.2*

The upgrade is horrible. It deleted previously created work.

Pass this app by

### 1/5 — Slow and Glitchy

*2019-12-20, version 4.0.2*

Way to slow at rendering images to be worthwhile.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This app is absolutely beautiful!!

*2021-02-12*

It’s all I expected and more, I couldn't imagine that I could actually turn my pictures in to works of art.

### 5/5 — Revised

*2021-02-02*

2020 was a bad year for everyone.
Good news:
Pikazo is running better than ever. Amazing app.

### 5/5 — Update

*2020-12-09*

Thanks so much, you guys, for taking care of the token issue that I had. I love this app!

### 5/5 — Update

*2019-11-14, version 4.0*

Can’t log on with my account after most recent update

### 5/5 — Nothing else like it

*2019-05-17*

Best little secret for true creatives.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-12-25*

Lots of fun can’t wait to receive my framed print.

### 5/5 — My all time favorite art app

*2018-01-09*

This is the absolute best filter/art/photo fun app ever made. I actually made my last album cover using Pikazo. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

### 5/5 — Missing the Adobe SDK

*2017-10-14*

great app. One of the few AI based art creating apps that is really creative, AND lets you use your own images as a basis for the transformation. HOWEVER, I almost always used the built in Adobe SDK which you removed on the last update. It saved me time. Who cares if other people deprecated it?

### 5/5 — This has become my favorite app.

*2017-01-05, version 3.2*

Don't listen to the other reviews you have to be patient it's doing a lot of work behind the scenes when you're merging the two images this app is amazing and simply DJing with pictures.

### 5/5 — I love it!

*2016-12-27, version 3.2*

Great new version of my favourite application! Highly recommended!
