And now you have to be part of crypto currency wallet shenanigans to get anything. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m out on that. Used to be fun for a few bucks. Now you can only win prizes for being the top investor in mostly meh songs. Going by the current top ten - if you’re not just working the system… and you REALLY think more than a hundred new songs here are worth showing to people…I don’t think I can help you. Does remind me of some cool old songs I’ve forgotten sometimes to be fair. Hundreds of songs in day or few tho? Come on. That one real humans would have to spending all day long maybe and the app is not THAT good. When I’m in the mood for it. - - Since guy likes math he should check it or update because if this ever was true it’s not at this time. NOW they don’t unfortunately use Venmo, they use PayPal. —- OKAY, I guess they change this a lot which is confusing and with the time PayPal takes I would have preferred staying with Venmo. Should have cashed out when it was 10 for $1, now it’s 40 for $2. It works tho! It might have taken me a month or less during bus trips. Still only 40 coins to cash out. For now. - - - - - - REGULAR REVIEW of the app itself: I mean don’t spend all your spare time with it, it’s a not a side gig just a way to see if there’s anything new out there and get money. Spoilers - not new within the past few years as I see it but you might find some cool bands that started in the past ten years you might like to discover. Also older bands, lots of older music. If the connection works, that’s a more legitimate complaint. Devs you really got to figure out your servers or whatever since I can watch videos elsewhere just fine when your app doesn’t load. I’d generously say 50/50 it works. —- - - Update to update as of 2022 - since people are rating this still, plus it looks like I didn’t mention I figured out getting the Venmo payments. My friend did it too, that works fine. It’s a pittance but if you find it fun why not? There may be a learning curve here I guess…it is still kinda clunky so understandable confusion. Conversions elsewhere? I dunno but it might have taken me a month or less during bus trips. I would prefer to actually be able to cash out more than a dollar at a time. I have all but the latest version maybe this fixes that. I was never paid for the first level and every level since has just passed along with no offer. So I assume it’s bugged but will they honor paying me what I’ve never received? Kind of doubt it at this point. I’ll probably occasionally use the app for what purpose it has currently served for me but if you’re here for the pay, beware, they don’t.. currently at least. I’m level 7 and haven’t seen any of it. This seems like a fun concept and it still kind of is but it also seems broken. I can’t add a profile pic or see any likes lists or rewards. Only superlikes which are mostly songs I already knew or artists that have dramatically changed since the release of the song. I do enjoy doing the daily likes as long as it’s free and just a slice of my time. Even still the dev needs to get off Twitter(see them commenting there all the time) and fix the app or at least the description page as this app is so far not as advertised by the last two images. I have the latest version. ### 4/5 — Cool app *2022-07-04, version 1.27* I use Apple Music so It’s more difficult for me to discover new artists than it is for Spotify users. This has introduced me to a few that I love! I don’t really like that it only shows you super liked songs as a YouTube playlist as it’s less convenient and sometimes videos get deleted. Also I feel like the segment of song played should be the best part to get a proper feel for it and that’s not always the case. My name is Jim Martin . I’ve been studying music for the last 30 years. I have several hundred songs and I’ve never released one. The only reason being life has gotten away from me and the times that I had a chance to do something with the complete perfection that I needed to release my music somebody died. I had a chance to sign with Dave at Arista records time and then a grip of minutes later capitol records. if you have any questions, I have several different ideas of how you could really make this app complete. My phone number is 360-784-3369. Shoot me a text and then then I’ll call you back. I just don’t from strangers lol so if I know it’s you I will pick up. This is a great idea and it could really come to fruition and one free tidbit that I would extend to you for free to be redundant. It’s very important that wish the house and dance music you gotta be able to hear the drop, there’s no way that somebody can write a song without hearing the drop so the only way I can tolerate listening to more dance music on this channel is if unable to hear the drop even if it’s played first you gotta hear that to have any idea of what kind of a song it can be anyways, peace, and light!!!!! ### 1/5 — Not a thing *2024-04-29, version 1.3.7* Spent 15min answering Qs for nothing ### 1/5 — What’s your time worth? *2024-03-28* To cash out you must earn 100 coins… and you only get $3. The numbers: Rate 10 songs (x 15 seconds each): 150 seconds 3 blocks of 10 songs (30 songs) to earn 1 coin: 450 seconds 100 coins is 45,000 seconds which is 750 minutes (12.5 HOURS)… for $3? That’s .24/hr. This is all based on hitting x or like immediately when able to (rare). If you super like so you have the opportunity for their bogus investment option, plan to spend more than 12.5 hours of your time for $3. SOMETIMES you can get through a song in 6 seconds vs 15, but this is rare. They increased the length of time you must listen before rating to make sure it takes a long time so you get tired and stop playing songs. I’ve stuck by Piki through many of their ups and downs recently, but this is just abuse of the members that are making them money and is the final straw for me. I thought things were bad in the past, this is beyond unacceptable. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — ?? *2024-01-03* Does anyone know if this app still pays out or are they still holding earnings ? Rate 1 if they’re not paying out 5 if yes ### 1/5 — Back to scamming *2023-08-04* The app used to be great. It’s not anymore. Spend 5-10 min a day and make a buck? Not anymore. Piki keeps increasing the number of songs you have to rate before cashing out. They continue to add features that make THEM money while increasing the number of bugs in the app and increasing number of songs you have to rate. They purposely break the app so it takes HOURS to get through the 450 songs you have to rate (15 levels and 30 songs each level). They decided that wasn’t enough and have stopped paying out at all. I’ve stuck it out with Piki but what they’re doing is wrong. They haven’t paid out to anyone in over a week. Don’t waste your time. They’re making money off you and not holding their end of the bargain. ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-11-16* If I could give it zero stars I would. This app is a scam. It doesn’t pay out and when it says to keep going or cash out, you would assume the dollar amount would stack. It doesn’t. Why not just put it back to the days when it worked right? It hangs all the time, there’s always a lag when trying to play music. They continue to change the rules on how often you can redeem a dollar. It’s no longer upon level up. Please stop tweaking the app and just fix the bugs. I’m about to delete this app out of sheer frustration. It’ll show up maybe once or twice a week but you do all that work for nothing. Then support will say you have to level up. Then you level up and then they’ll say it takes 2 days after you level up for the button to show up again. It’s a worthless app now. It used to be so great. **Developer response:** Piki is not a scam. Many of our users make 20$ per month while having fun. So far I’ve always picked the Venmo request and although there’s a wait to receive it and you can’t use Piki for 24 hours afterwards, at least in my experience, they’ve almost always been on time with processing Venmo requests, getting the Venmo request processed before the 24 hour period was up nearly every time. This does not replace a job, but it’s a good way to make some extra money as well as build up your Spotify playlist. Sasha is quick to respond to emails and Venmo payments are always timely when they are made, even with occasional small delays.
