The app itself is super slow, it would take forever to just populate the main page. And then to get to each following page took forever as well. And if I clicked over to another app, it would start the whole process over. I tried to cancel my subscription but there is no way to do that on the app. You have no profile or anything to manage your account. Tried to contact them through their “contact us” link and it would. not. go. THROUGH! Again….is it the slow app thing? Or is it a scam? I tried emailing them through my personal email and have yet to get a response over a month later. The whole thing just feels kinda scammy. Would not recommend. ### 1/5 — Not as advertised - can’t cancel free trial either *2023-06-03* The ad shows this app will pick the best hairstyle for you and it doesn’t. It allows you to scroll through options with very cartoonish hair choices and colors. Then it won’t let you cancel the free trial. I’m going to be livid if I’m billed for this!!!! I reached out to Apple as well. I am hoping I can cancel this. There is no customer service for this app to get a refund. I wouldn’t download it, save yourself the headache! ### 1/5 — In an age of decent visual generative AI… we get this. *2023-05-17* Wow. I am terribly disappointed. This is ollllllld technology. I thought I might be able to use it for creating content but all this is is overlays that one could see at a science museum in the 1990s and online in the early 2000’s. To make matters worse, canceling your subscription is proving to be a bear. Here’s hoping I can get this thing canceled. Otherwise, I’ll have to tell my credit card to cancel and we all know how easy that is. TL;dr: just don’t. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money… *2023-04-12* The app uses a filter so it doesn’t look accurate, hairstyles are difficult to line up, color choices are set and limited, aging is not correct because the app didn’t ask how old I was and established my age to be 16 years younger. The cancelled 5 minutes after I purchased (purchased an entire month) and realized there was an option for a weekly subscription that I was never offered. I tried to contact customer service and got no response. Do not waste your money. ### 1/5 — BE WARNED *2022-11-30, version 1.7* I checked out the app on the free trial. After a few minutes I figured out the app didn’t really do what it claims it can do. I tried to cancel the trial so it wouldn’t auto renew but the method described to cancel it doesn’t exist in the app. I contacted them to let them know of the deficiency and please cancel the trial twice. I didn’t get any response and I see a charge on my card this morning. ### 1/5 — Said it was free but not *2022-11-22, version 1.7* Oh sure there is a free trial period but that doesn’t mean it’s free! You go through this whole thing of taking a picture and it’s analyzing your face only to be stopped before you get anything and told there will be a charge. If your app is good you can afford to truly let users try it without setting up the automatic payment before they get anything that might help them understand if your app is worth it. ### 1/5 — This app is a joke *2022-10-05, version 1.3* I downloaded this app in hopes of trying on different hairstyles. Turns out it gives you two hairstyles to try on for free and it doesn’t even look realistic. If you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money, you can buy 18 other hairstyles to try on. I don’t know what was worse, finding out you only get 2 hairstyles or the constant bombardment of advertising. A total waste of time. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work well *2023-05-05* I thought it would be great to explore new hairstyles before my next hair appt, however this app was not at all helpful. I tried several times, but the hair “floats” over my head and doesn’t fit on my head. It is also not proportionate. This does not provide an accurate or useful look and makes this app completely useless to me. Great concept and thankful for the free trial - I’d have been upset if I had paid for it. ### 2/5 — Not FREE w/o constant sponsor ADS… *2022-11-20, version 1.7* I’ll start by saying there are MANY similar apps to this one. That being said, with this app I COULD NOT TRY ONE single new hairstyle on a pic of me without getting a sponsored ad that popped up literally every TWO SECONDS. Not one time, no matter how many different ways I tried it. If there is an existing way to try it out for free it is not obvious, thus making it a completely “non user-friendly” app. Supposing there is a chance that the sponsors & the owners of this app WANT folks to purchase it…this may sound ludicrous, but perhaps give us a FEW initial free tries?
