## What is Pile?

Every music app has a like button. None of them has a later button. Off the Shelf is the later button for Spotify - one shelf for the album behind that one song, the artist you suddenly remembered, your next audiobook, and any playlist, podcast, or episode worth keeping for later.

SAVE IT IN THE MOMENT
Hear one great track and want the whole album? Get an audiobook tip mid-conversation? Share it to Off the Shelf right from Spotify (or paste a link) and it's shelved - title and cover art fetched automatically. Works with songs, albums, playlists, podcasts, episodes, and audiobooks.

A SHELF, NOT A BLACK HOLE
Saved things don't vanish into a liked-list. Your pile sits on shelves by type - albums with albums, audiobooks with audiobooks - in the order you choose. Up next is always on top, and a drag reorders the queue. No algorithm reshuffles your intentions.

TAP TO PLAY, WHEN YOU'RE READY
When the moment comes - the commute, the kitchen, the long drive - tap a cover and it opens right in Spotify, or the web player if Spotify isn't installed. Done listening? Mark it done and it leaves the shelf.

ALSO ON YOUR MAC
Off the Shelf has a Mac companion - same free app, one purchase. It lives in your menu bar, shelves whatever Spotify is playing with a single click, and plays a cover straight in the Spotify desktop app. Your pile syncs between iPhone and Mac over your own iCloud, so what you shelf on the commute is waiting when you sit down.

No account. No sign-in. No tracking, no analytics, no ads. Your pile lives on your devices and in your own private iCloud - nowhere else, and on no server of mine.

• iCloud sync - your shelf follows you between iPhone and the new Mac app. Same free app, one pile.
• Siri and Shortcuts - "Add to Shelf" saves a link hands-free, and "Surprise Me" pulls something off the shelf at random and opens it in Spotify.
• A fuller sample pile - "Load a sample pile" now fills every shelf, audiobooks and podcasts included.
• Fixes to VoiceOver labels and to metadata that arrived incomplete.
