Most medication apps ask you to type it all in yourself. The name, the dose, the times, the refill count, for every bottle you own. Pillot starts differently. Photograph a prescription label and Pillot reads it, builds a clean digital label, and turns it into a schedule with reminders. No typing. No account. Nothing to sign up for. PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no account and no Pillot server holding your information. Your medications, your schedule and your history live on your phone. The one exception, stated plainly because it matters: when you scan, that label photo is sent over an encrypted connection to Anthropic’s Claude, an AI that reads it. It is used only for that, it is never used to train AI, and Anthropic deletes it under their retention policy. Nothing else you enter is ever sent anywhere. You can turn label reading off in Settings at any time. WHAT IT DOES • Scan a prescription or over-the-counter label and Pillot reads the name, dosage, directions and refills • Reminders arrive one per dose, with Take and Snooze right on the notification • Repeat schedules match real prescriptions: every day, every few days, or certain days of the week • Courses that alternate, like two weeks on and two weeks off, are read off the label and built for you • As-needed medications get their own log, with a reason for each dose and daily limits • Supplements and vitamins work the same way as prescriptions • History shows every dose you took, skipped or missed, day by day • Supply tracking estimates days left and reminds you before a bottle runs out • Dark mode follows your phone HONEST WHEN IT IS NOT SURE Pillot will not invent a value to fill a field. If the reader is unsure about a medication name, a dose or the directions, it stops before saving and asks you to check that field against the bottle. If it cannot read a field confidently it leaves it blank rather than guessing. If a label describes a pattern it cannot schedule, it says so and asks you to follow your prescription. FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON Pillot holds up to five people on one phone, each with their own medications, schedule, reminders and history. Adding a medication names the person it is for, on the button you press. Reminders say whose dose it is, so “Time for Mom’s Lisinopril” arrives while you are looking at your own day.
