### 5/5 — makes taking many vitamins super easy

*2022-02-10*

i take many vitamins throughout the day, plus a prescription. this app suggests organizing “events” like “breakfast” and “dinner”. For each event you list the pills you need to tske. you vould also add an event like “before tennis” for sunscreen or “after swimming” for moisturizer. it’s pretty smooth. there’s an image thst shows you examples.

### 2/5 — Too rigid to be useful

*2019-10-11*

I really wanted to like this app. Developer is very responsive. Unfortunately, it’s just too inflexible.

Some medications need to be scheduled before or after meals (or both before and after). The app allows you to postpone the end time of the range in 15 minute increments, but not the beginning.

For instance, if I wasn’t able to eat breakfast until later, I would have to delay a medication originally scheduled for 8am to now be taken at 10am. The app now shows that the med can be taken any time between 8am & 10pm. That’s not accurate, because the med can’t be taken prior to 10am.

Also, the app doesn’t allow updating actions on mandatory medications. If I accidentally hit skip because my hands are shaky, there’s no way to fix this. The developer recommends changing the setting to “not mandatory”, but this doesn’t make sense because the medication is mandatory, and I took it, but the app won’t let me document it.

Medications categorized as not mandatory can have their actions updated. (Or at least they will be able to when the bug is fixed; developer is aware.)

If you’re a robot and do everything exactly the same time every day, never have to modify your schedule, and never make a mistake, this app is for you.

If you need a medication tracking app that’s flexible and works for real life, this isn’t it.

**Developer response:** Dear User. The App is designed to be flexible! Maybe you think you have to wait for the alert signal before you can take your medication, but that is not the case. You can take the medication anytime within the specified interval, the App will only alert you when you forget.

Yes, one can not postpone the beginning time of an event! But why should you? The objective of the postpone function is to allow you to postpone your medication when you can not take it on time, not to force you to take it later.

Now (since version 3.40) one can undo mistakes! If you touch "confirm" or "skip" by misstake you can now enter the "revert mode" to undo that mistake!

We hope you give Pills Ping a second try! Most people find it to be both flexible and reliable.

Kind Regerads
   Carl

### 5/5 — Upgrade

*2019-05-17*

Phenomenal !!!!!!!!!! Just need the discharge & note additions to be complete.

### 5/5 — Finally!!

*2018-03-25*

Update 3/25/18: Latest update fixed the bug causing the reminders to keep coming. The developer has been very quick to respond not just to bug issues but also to suggestions. There are “fancier” apps out there but this is the only one that meets my needs and I’ve tried pretty much every med reminder app out there.

Update: Have to take it down to 3 stars. There is another bug I’ve experienced that has caused me to stop using the app until it’s fixed. Even though I take all my pills and check them off, the audible and pop up reminders keep coming. So annoying. I hope it gets fixed soon!

Original review: 5 stars - Finally a pill reminder that lets me organize my supplements by event (with breakfast, at bedtime, etc) instead of a very specific time, and also let’s me create as many events as I need. This app also allows me to assign a time range for each event, which is awesome because I often don’t eat or go to bed at the exact same time each day. I take 26 different supplements spread between seven different times/events each day and this is the only app I’ve found that lets me organize them the way I need to - and I’ve tried almost every pill reminder app out there!

**Developer response:** We have fixed this issue now (version 2.1). The two bugs where related, and they did not occur in our own time zoon. We apologise for the inconvenience that we have caused you.
