### 5/5 — Altimeter

*2023-08-28*

Great app. I didn’t know the iPhone had this capability, that display is great and allows adjustment for current barometric pressure. Just a great app and satisfies my curiosity about these things.

### 5/5 — Works well!

I am an aircraft avionics technician, specializing in aircraft air data systems. I find this app (in conjunction with the iPhone’s built-in pressure sensor) is extremely accurate.

### 5/5 — Mr Carl Jones

Love it . I find it very accurate when the proper barometric pressure is entered .

### 5/5 — Great app

App seems to work very well.

### 5/5 — Great Little Altimeter App!

*2023-03-08*

I am a retired pilot, who has flown many different types of light aircraft. I must say that I am very impressed the realistic altimeter that you have created. It’s sensitive — it even registered an altitude gain & loss as the car I was riding in went over a highway overpass. The instrument’s hands move smoothly, just like a real altimeter’s hands do. The “Pressure Compensation Adjustment” feature works beautifully. When I first downloaded the app, I noticed that the “PCA” could be adjusted only in 0.02 “ Hg in. increments — even-numbered altimeter settings (29.90, 29.92, 29.94, etc.). Since then, however, I’ve discovered that odd-numbered settings (e.g.: 29.95) can be input by manually grabbing and rotating the dial within the Kollsman window to the desired “more-accurate” setting, which then is displayed as “29.95” on the “PCA” display readout. The developer might want to include that capability in the “instructions”, since I found out about that feature, solely by accident. I believe that it is accurate enough, to be used as an “EMERGENCY BACK-UP ONLY” altitude instrument, ONLY IN UNPRESSURIZED AIRCRAFT, in case of failure of the on-board altimeter, or of the entire pitot-static system. VERY IMPRESSIVE!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind review! We do have to update the instructions, but I wanted to get this update out there as soon as possible. If you have any suggestions for improvements, feel free to email us at info@mox.dev - feedback from real pilots is invaluable!

### 5/5 — Great Little Altimeter App!

### 5/5 — Accurate

*2022-05-25*

It matches my current altitude.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2022-02-24*

I’ve checked this in flight and find it very accurate. More so than several well known aviation navigation applications.

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2021-11-04*

My only (semi) complaint is that the baro settings are only in .02 increments … but that’s just “grasping at straws.”

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! You can now change the baro setting in .01 steps (.5 steps for metric) by dragging up/down on the altimeter.

### 5/5 — DeBon’s

*2021-08-18, version 1.1.2*

Great

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2020-12-12*

I love this app. The interface is absolutely beautiful and super easy to read. It’s so much better than other apps out there. Look no further, download this now!

### 5/5 — Great little tool

*2020-11-18, version 1.1.1*

I’m a pilot and this altimeter app is very easy to use and very accurate! Thanks for making it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It's 2023 !!!

*2023-08-26*

This app needs major modernizations such as an option for digital display, GPS source option, a widget with one click floating display where it can be used over other apps as well as a split screen so you can use he app while using other apps, etc. When these are done, let me know to purchase !!

### 1/5 — Ads make it unusable

*2021-09-20, version 1.1.2*

Not worth the download

### 2/5 — Annoying

*2022-06-17*

Way too expensive for what it does. Pop up adds make the free version truly useless

### 4/5 — Functional and easy to use

*2023-11-15*

Lovely app - no hazle no pestering and functional - can even use it for back up on my aircraft ( recreational use only )

### 4/5 — Okay

*2021-12-15*

It works. UI could be better.

**Developer response:** What would you change about the UI? I’d like to hear your feedback (info@mox.dev). Thanks!

### 4/5 — Looks good but needs mB

*2020-10-09, version 1.0*

I like this app. The rest of the world doesn’t use inches though so in order to appeal to a wider audience, you should add mB to the app.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-08-19*

Works as it should 😊

### 5/5 — A Realistic Altimeter

*2025-02-21*

Reviewed this before. Very sensitive - it even registers altitude change when driving on overpasses!
Can be used in reverse to determine the barometric altimeter setting, relative to sea level, by inputting a "known altitude".
A great app!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-01-02*

Fun app for aviators & aviation enthusiasts. I highly recommend it

### 5/5 — Altimeter

### 5/5 — ALT

*2024-04-29, version 1.2.0*

A nice ap!

### 5/5 — Very accurate

*2024-02-04*

This is a great tool. You can use it to validate the altitude or with a known altitude, you can check the pressure for weather changes.

### 5/5 — Grate app !!

*2024-01-31, version 1.2.0*

👍
