### 1/5 — Waste

*2015-05-29*

This app doesn't work. I'd like my money back. Don't waste your money.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor quality g meter

*2022-05-01, version 1.2*

The other reviews are correct. The meter works as if it is upside down, and reads positive g’s as negative. No way to zero it. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Nice appearance but sensing inverted

*2020-09-14, version 1.2*

Nice appearance but the sensing is upside down. Magnitude appears correct. Orientation is along the y-axis only. Please correct sensing.

### 1/5 — Pilot G Meter

*2018-11-22, version 1.2*

Works only the first time after installing. After that, it just locks up on the intro graphic screen. $2.99 wasted.

### 1/5 — Really bad

*2018-10-04*

Really bad

### 1/5 — Simply does NOT work

*2018-04-29, version 1.2*

Regardless of phone orientation, it did not work in the airplane. Slap it around on the ground and it appears to register g force but at 4gs in the airplane, it read -1.2 or 0, depending on the orientation.

On initialization, with the iPhone, it takes 15” to start, then promptly shuts off. If you reselect the app immediately after it closes itself, it will generally relaunch.

### 1/5 — Axes all different

*2017-06-09, version 1.2*

Hey which axis of the device is supposed to be accurate? They give very different results. Device appears unable to calibrate at all. Not sure what it is actually indicating.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2016-10-07*

Waste of money doesn't work!

### 1/5 — Gmeter not working

*2016-05-18*

It works some time

### 1/5 — Missing pertinent info!

*2016-01-24*

Add a max +/- marker, you morons!!!

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2015-08-01*

I used this for a flight today talking about G loading and load factors. In a 60 degree bank constant altitude turn this registered 1.1 G's. In a spin recovery pulling 4 G's this registered a max of 1.15. I never was able to get it to read anything above that, and nothing under 1.0 even in negative G flight.

Complete waste of money, although it looks good.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works as advertised

*2017-08-04, version 1.2*

Orient phone up and down for aircraft g-force, left to right for lateral acceleration, front to back for longitudinal acceleration. Retains max and min till reset. Works as advertised. I Phone 6.

### 4/5 — Reversed

*2020-05-15*

Works as advertised, except backwards...

A two g pull-up registers as zero.

A zero g pushover reads 2 positive.

Which can kinda be solved by mounting the phone upside down.....

I’m not a programmer, but one would think (perhaps incorrectly) that a sign shift somewhere in the code would solve the problem....

### 2/5 — G Meter

*2017-10-15*

Sensing is reversed. Positive G's indicate as negative.

### 2/5 — Senses in reverse

*2016-12-22, version 1.2*

It works, the sensing is completing backwards.
