## What is Pilot Window?

Pilots, are you tired of using that water bottle to see if you will clear that cloud?  This app lets you determine if you may need to deviate.  Just select the range away in miles, and it will approximately tell you how many feet above or below the cloud top will be.  And at night, when you are bored, wondering what that bright light in front of you is, use the built-in stargazer utility with some fun facts about what you are looking at.  This app is built by a 30-year airline pilot who will just keep making it better.

At night it becomes a stargazer’s dream! It points out planets, the ISS, and bright stars, and even throws in fun facts … and I love fun facts. 

Highly recommend — whether you fly airplanes or just like pointing your phone at the sky.

Since the iPhone's compass heading is not that accurate, I added a calibration dial.  Set it to your plane's heading or find a star or moon to fine-tune the heading.
