The app thinks I’m not at a Pilot/Flying J when I’m in their parking lot and sometimes forces me to walk inside to reserve a shower on the app. ### 3/5 — Buggy App Charged Me for a Shower I Never Reserved *2026-08-22, version 7.13.0* The Pilot app is extremely buggy and frustrating to use. First, it takes forever to recognize the truck stop I’m actually at. I usually have to tap “Showers” or “Parking” several times before the correct location finally shows up. Second, I checked the shower availability and saw there was a long line ahead of me, so I decided NOT to reserve a shower. I simply closed the app and left the truck stop. Later, I received a text saying that my shower was ready. I opened the app, and sure enough, it showed a shower assigned to me—even though I never booked one. Why was I charged for a shower I never reserved? All of a sudden, gas rewards were not working. When I went in store to ask about what the problem was, they said I would have to download the new app to get the rewards. When I went to the App Store, it said I couldn’t download the app because I needed to update my phone. Corporate said the same thing to me when I called. The company does not seem to care about losing their faithful customers. They have lost my business because I am not going to be pushed into a corner and made to do something with my phone that I do not want to do. Besides, all the reviews seem to be saying the same negative things about this new app. Why would I be inclined to jump through all the hoops only to get a worse experience. Wish I could still use the older App and Flying J / Pilot’s rewards and gas stations exclusively like I used to. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fuel prices always wrong *2026-09-01, version 7.14.0* This app has screwed me over so many times I have went out of my way to get fuel at a certain price more times than I can remember I get there and it’s way off and I called customer service and they just basically tell you to screw off. There’s nothing they can do for you. They don’t care about all the time you spent driving all the way to get the wrong fuel price. They see the transaction they see the price difference in how it’s wrong from the app to what it actually paid. Thank you at minimum and a few dollars in point for the 50 or $60 extra dollars you spent but no, they just don’t care after you buy thousands of gallons of fuel from them every month ### 1/5 — Won’t open *2026-08-31, version 7.14.0* You might want to check with your app development team. ### 1/5 — Updates suck *2026-08-31, version 7.14.0* After the new updated app. I can never get screen to load passed the red with white p icon screen. If I am lucky minutes later, I can’t get my offers to load. I can never place order online, either app or tablet at stores always down. App want locate me at the store or load to redeem. So what’s the purpose of wasting my data to keep updating???and reloading app. I clean installed after deleting the app, same issues. Please fix this.
