### 2/5 — Initially great, but not anymore

*2025-10-21*

Worked fantastically with the original eCrew rostering app, could easily import all of my flights electronically. However, since eCrew app changed a while back I can no longer electronically import my flights. This kind of defeats the point of me having the app, I think I will most likely be getting a new app where I can do this. I am sure there was meant to be an update so this would work again, but as of yet I haven’t seen it, I maybe wrong.

**Developer response:** Dear James,

Thank you for your review.
Would it be possible to reach out to us via support@crewlounge.aero so we can look into the issue, if you have not done so yet.

As we're not affiliated with airlines or suppliers of roster software, an update can cause issues on our interfaces as we're not informed when these take place.
When pilots report those problems to us, we investigate and can -in most cases- resolve the problem and ensure the interface works again correctly.

Take care & fly safe!

### 2/5 — Very buggy

*2025-06-10*

Lots of bugs

Roster imports forgets simulator sessions

Crew names randomly deleted from past flights

No more auto download from crew web portal

No more crew names even though published on roster we feed in.

Synchronisation stalls after roster pdf import.

App was great two years ago. Now feels more like a good xl sheet would do the job.

**Developer response:** Dear Pilot,

Thanks for taking the time to share your detailed feedback—we're sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how frustrating these issues must be, and we're actively working to improve stability and restore the features you mentioned.

If you're open to it, please reach out to us via email with details or samples so we can investigate the specific problems and address them directly. Your input is invaluable in helping us improve. We hope to earn back your trust. #crewlounge

### 3/5 — Pilot Dany verron

### 1/5 — Latest update needs to be debugged.

*2025-03-25, version 5.4.25*

Latest app update has a major bug which prevents scrolling down to enter flight data when adding or editing flights.

### 5/5 — Excellent application and support

*2025-03-13, version 5.4.24*

Have been using Crew Lounge (started as MCC) for many years now and multiple airlines .
Their applications and support have always been excellent

### 5/5 — Great Logbook

*2025-02-05*

This is a great piece of software. It took a while to get use to it after it’s previous version, which I also liked. What I like about this software is that you can retrieve the answers you need when filling in the questions from the AME forms or even the CAA Forms.

I love the fact that I can input my flights either on my phone, laptop or my pc at home.

Their support team are good. I had a small issue importing my entries from the previous version, which they solved from an update.

To conclude, I would recommend this software to any pilot who wishes to transfer their logbook electronically.

**Developer response:** Hi Burkie! Your feedback is highly appreciated! Thank you for appreciating the new Crewlounge app and also we thank you for being a loyal customer of MCC and now with Crewlounge. Rest assured that we will continue to provide you with the best app and support.

### 2/5 — Support recently more than horrorfying

*2025-01-27*

Actually I really like this logbook abd have been using it since quite some years now. Unfortunately I had some software trouble this summer and since then all I get as an response, is that they are busy at the moment and somebody will come back to me soon. 6 month have passed since then, withe several attemps and the same standard response.
Whats going on? Back then I made way better experiences with the support.

**Developer response:** Dear Pilot,

Thank you for your continued support over the years. We truly appreciate it. We're very sorry to hear about the delay in support and the frustration it’s caused. This is not the experience we want to deliver, and we understand how disappointing this must be, especially after having had better experiences in the past. Our team has been working through a backlog, but this shouldn’t have impacted your case for so long. Please reach out again via email, and we’ll make sure your issue is prioritized and properly addressed. #crewlounge

### 5/5 — Logbook

*2025-01-21*

I encountered an issue with the time difference between my desktop application and phone. The support team was excellent; they responded within 24 hours and provided a detailed explanation of how to fix it. I’ve also transitioned from the MCC pilot log and understand the frustration of individuals leaving negative feedback. However, I believe those using the MCC logbook had the opportunity to obtain a lifetime subscription by paying for three years or something similar. I really appreciate the app; it’s incredibly user-friendly. Uploading your schedule is easy, and at the end of the flight, you simply take a picture of the times and upload it.

**Developer response:** Dear Crew Member, Thank you so much for your amazing review! It is delightful to hear such positive words and it's always a pleasure to serve you! Rest assured that we will continue to provide you the best app and support ever! #Crewlounge

### 1/5 — Worst Support

*2025-01-20*

They sent me an answer the issue was solved, but unfortunately not. Very disappointing being a client since the beginning.

**Developer response:** Dear Jhodgkiss, Thank you for your warm and positive review! We're such delighted to know that the app works great on you. Kind regards, #crewlounge

### 5/5 — Multi functional logbook

*2025-01-15, version 5.4.24*

Well supported by quick & correct responses to queries, I keep on finding more uses for this pilot logbook app. I am on the full Enterprise edition, well worth it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Zero customer service. WORTHLESS

*2026-08-18*

App worked fine until about a month ago. They came up with an update and messed everything up. After the mess they created for changing an app that was working fine they have released four updates and still having the samenissues. They talk big game of their “customer service” and WILL comment right below this negative review with their “sorry line” but still will not reply to a support ticket created weeks ago. Gents and Gals please save your hard earned money and look elsewhere. This log app is NOT WORTH it.

### 1/5 — Complete Failure

*2026-04-15, version 5.4.51*

Five years ago, this was the best logbook out there. I researched them all and tried many. Roster import was phenomenal, logbook formatting for interview printing was great, the ability to parse flight times from ACARS OOOI, and night/xc/IFR calculations adjusted for local times.

Something happened about 2 years ago. I am at my third airline, all have used different interfaces. I was able to import my trips for almost 2 months then summer of 2024 it just…stopped. Mid-trip and I couldn’t sync updated data. With no notice they “suspended all imports.” No apology. No help. They have never re-implemented the feature. The only ‘solution’ was to curtly inform me they just decided to stop and will never reinstate it, and for my troubles they would prorate my 5 year software license (but only if I canceled abs therefore lost my ability to continue logging). Still upsets me to this day.

I am still using the app out of spite because I have some months left on the license, but after the end of this year it expires and I am not renewing. It is arduous to manually create every pilot profile, every tail number, manually create every flight, add the OOOI times. The app doesn’t remember pairing numbers when I build a return leg. Frequently saves my local times as Zulu times, but not for every OOOI block. The ACARS capture never works anymore. I take a picture which has the times very clear but it always fails “no IN time” or some nonense even though OOOI is all there. Manual roster import has never worked. I have tried logging in via their API screen. I have tried screenshots of my trip sheets. I have tried PDF imports via the manual tab. Always hangs at 75% and “no flights found.” I don’t know how much clearer the trip sheet could be. It literally has times, flight numbers, city pairs, etc.

The whole point of paying, was to make this simple and automated. It is not. It is tedious. Erroneous. Constantly have to correct the app’s incorrect info. If the app was free, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But the broken features, removal of features, and the “oh well it sucks to be you” attitude from this company is maddening. All around the time Aviobook acquired PILOTLOG.

### 1/5 — Won’t open on my phone

*2026-04-14, version 5.4.51*

Works on the iPad but won’t even open on my phone.

### 1/5 — Roster download broken again

*2025-09-27, version 5.4.34*

I originally paid for MCC PILOTLOG lifetime which they then went back on by releasing a new app and asking us to pay for a new lifetime subscription. Stupidly I did this.

Now, every couple of months the roster download stops working, and they seem to have no idea how to fix it.

More and more features are removed, recently the crew names are no longer included in the download (when it works). They blame GDPR for this but no other app has this issue and it’s a legal requirement to include the PIC name so I have to manually enter it anyway.

In the end, I have to enter so much manually I’m better off with the old classic paper logbook.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-08-01*

Attention! Read before buying.

I’ve been using the app since April 2023, this week they decided to block my access due to some security issue I didn’t understand, forcing me to request account reactivation. I lost access, and after 24 hours it was restored… and guess what? All my entries were scrambled, the ones I had logged were missing, and worst of all NONE of my 2024 flights were there! That’s right, THEY LOST ALL MY 2024 LOGS. Unbelievable. Even after dozens of emails with support, NOBODY was able to fix it. I stopped using the app and decided to leave this warning for you guys. Be aware about it before buy this service. It can happen to you as well.

### 1/5 — They are not as good as before

*2025-04-17, version 5.4.27*

They have made so many changes that they are not what they used to be. They are completely awful. They were very prompt in resolving your problems. Now, they don’t even respond to emails anymore.

### 1/5 — Less and less

*2025-04-09, version 5.4.27*

Less and less seems to be usable

### 1/5 — Use a different logbook

*2025-03-29, version 5.4.26*

Awkward to use, doesn’t download roster, helpline are the opposite of helpful. Tell you to get another subscription on top of the logbook (crew lounge). Use a different product or just use excel. Terrible

### 1/5 — Currently unusable

*2025-03-27, version 5.4.25*

A major bug has now made the app unusable. It is no longer possible to enter new flights on the app, the app freezes every time. Save your money and use a different product.

### 1/5 — Last update

*2025-03-27*

The last update has really screwed the whole app to an extent that it’s unusable and you still cannot generate logbook copy from the app

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works well

*2026-02-04, version 5.4.44*

Syncs well

### 5/5 — Excellent app for your logbook

*2025-12-06*

I have been using it for more than 10 years, never disappointed.
ADS B function to log your flights is very useful, quick to use. I can only recommend Pilotlog

**Developer response:** Dear pilot,

Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated

//Dries@CrewLounge

### 5/5 — Excellent App, works brilliantly

*2025-10-04*

So been with them since 2018, they’ve been through ups and downs but truly are always trying there best to keep up with the times. The logbook itself is absolutely brilliant and due to privacy laws they’ve had to adapt import roster features with many airline interfaces. It yet still is one of the best logbooks ive come across, decent pricing and there constantly improving and they care about you. Reply is slow to emails but they do reply within 2 working days

**Developer response:** Dear pilot,

Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated!

Take care & fly safe!

//Dries@CrewLounge

### 5/5 — Fantastic free version

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-06-30*

Good product

**Developer response:** Dear Pilot,

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2025-04-03*

Just Perfect the interface and the way to log

### 5/5 — Great logbook

*2025-03-16*

The GUI could do with a bit of work but that aside the app is excellent - especially when paired with CL Connect - it’s a real shame that CL Connect disabled downloading other crew names - that made this logbook perfect.

The adsb uplink of times capability is excellent and accurate and a selling point all on its own

Great work

**Developer response:** Dear Tinkererbris, Thank you so much for your amazing review! Our app's primary objective is to deliver a smooth and uninterrupted experience for both flight crew members and users. We understand the importance of having an efficient and reliable logbook, and we are happy to provide that service to you. Your support and feedback means a lot to us. #crewlounge
