È una bellissima applicazione molto ricca di informazioni, ma all’apertura la geolocalizzazione non funziona e devo cercarla io per trovare il mio territorio (Italia). Inoltre le durate dei voli sono sempre completamente sbagliate. Insomma, occorrono diversi aggiornamenti per renderla sempre più performante al pari di altre applicazioni di flight tracking. Grazie mille e buon lavoro!

No longer to import trips from LIDO or paste in any other way. Format not recognised. Used to work. Please fix.

Ho acquistato la versione Europa e Nord America. Il mio iOS è aggiornato, ma l’app continua a crashare dopo un secondo dall’apertura. Ho provato a disinstallarla e re-installarla più volte. Nulla. Soldi buttati.

Vor 20 Jahren hatten wir alle die Papierform im Koffer…
Die elektronische Form lässt mehr als zu wünschen übrig. APP stürzt beim zoomen ab. Reproduzierbar! 
POI wird langsam besser.. 
allerdings hat Jeppesen mit dem letzten Update mächtig aufgeholt.
Und wie in Rezessionen vor 11 J geschrieben, Landsteile werden in lokaler Sprache beschrieben. Siehe China. Wie kann man da eine Durchsage machen. ?
Inzwischen benutzen einige Kollegen Maps.me.
Also für den Preis, sollte es auch funktionieren.

Ich hatte mal einen offline Atlas von National Geografic, der war echt gut, weil er offline funktionierte und auch viele Details besaß. Leider sind die ganzen online tools nicht wirklich nutzbar im Flug. Somit haben sie auch nicht viel wert.

### 6.16.1 — 2026-08-31

Route planning gains the two things it was missing: the real ground beneath your route, and real winds in the navigation log.

NEW — TERRAIN PROFILE
• The cross-section now draws the actual terrain under your route. Since February it drew a flat line at sea level, which over the Alps made an airspace floor look reachable when the ground was already above it. It also says which elevation resolution each stretch came from, and marks gaps as "no data" instead of letting them read as flat ground. Advisory only: bare earth, no masts or towers, never a clearance figure.
• Every airspace the route crosses is tappable, opening the same detail card as a map tap — at the point your route enters it, not the polygon's centre.
• The Profile button existed only in the compact trip editor. On iPad and Mac, in the wide layout, it could not be opened at all. Both layouts have it now.

NEW — WINDS ALOFT
• Global winds aloft. Courses, ground speeds, times and fuel in the navigation log are wind-corrected for the first time — worldwide, not only over the US. Set a cruise altitude and the winds are read at it.
• The log says which of four states applies: fetching, no cruise altitude set, nothing available, or applied and at what level. An empty wind column must never read as calm air.

NEW — ARRIVAL WEATHER
• The trip Weather tab now shows each airport's forecast for the time you will be there, beneath the current conditions, taken from the TAF period covering your estimated arrival. TEMPO and PROB groups are shown separately — a chance of IFR is not IFR.
• Each arrival time says whether it is wind-corrected, and an arrival no TAF period covers says so rather than showing a forecast for a different time.

NEW — MAP AND AIRSPACE
• A tap now offers everything under your finger. An airport inside a CTR, under a TMA, under a FIR only ever offered the airport; the rest were reachable only by switching layers off. All of them are listed now, likeliest first, with class and vertical limits on each row.
• "This Position" is always the last entry, so a position, a ruler or a briefing can be started anywhere — including on top of an airport.
• An airspace's operating hours and activation conditions are now a readable weekly schedule instead of raw JSON.
• Double-tap the map to fly to an annotation.

NEW — WEATHER DATA
• A full sync is two requests instead of about 68. The Airport Types filter goes with it: every airport gets weather now, not only the large ones. A refresh interval replaces it, 15 minutes to 6 hours.

FIXED
• Airspace downloads had stopped working for everyone, on every version — OpenAIP moved their data behind a paid-access bucket and anonymous downloads began failing. They now go through our own server. Countries already on the device kept working, so the failure was invisible until you added one.
• An airspace ceiling filed in feet was shown as FL19500 rather than FL195, and that figure reached the proximity logic.
• Region downloads resume after an interruption instead of starting over. Half of all downloads that were started never finished, and the largest packs fared worst.
• A clear night was rated "Excellent conditions for VFR flight". Day and night are now shown under both the EASA/SERA and the 14 CFR definitions, and the rating is capped after dark.
• Location access was requested cold, with no explanation, and a denial left no way back. It is explained first now, and recoverable.
• Weather sync stopped permanently after the first low-memory warning while looking merely slow.
• Aviation Data read "Zero KB" during a refresh, and a continent row claimed "0 of 52 have data" directly above "49 cached".

### 6.15.0 — 2026-08-23

Trip planning grows up, and your flight numbers leave the app — on the Home and Lock Screen, in the Live Activity banner, and on your Apple Watch.

NEW — TRIP PLANNING
• Aircraft profiles. Enter your aeroplane's cruise speed and fuel burn once, and every time and fuel figure is calculated for it instead of a generic default. Type an ICAO type and the make and model fill themselves in; typical figures for that type are offered, but only applied when you press the button — they are book values for the type, not for your airframe. Settings ▸ Flight Settings ▸ Aircraft, or inside any trip.
• Route field. Type or paste a whole route — "EDDM DKB EDDS" — instead of adding waypoints one at a time. Airports, navaids, fixes and coordinates all resolve. Anything it cannot resolve, it tells you about before applying.
• Insert Before and Insert After on any waypoint. Adding a fuel stop between legs 3 and 4 no longer means adding it last and dragging it back.
• Drag the route on the map. Waypoints and the midpoint handles between them are draggable by default now. A new "Lock Route" switch protects a finished plan.
• Terrain profile. A side-on view of the ground beneath your route against your planned altitude, drawn from the elevation data on your device. Advisory only — bare earth, no masts or towers.
• Printable navigation log, as a PDF you can share or file.
• Pack this flight: which countries your route crosses and which terrain packs you are missing.
• Magnetic course, from the onboard magnetic model.

NEW — WIDGETS AND WATCH
• Flight widget — the flight timer plus the fields you picked for the Flight Info Bar, with distance and time to the next waypoint during a trip. Five sizes, including Lock Screen.
• Apple Watch — an Instruments screen in the Flight menu and a face complication in four styles. If the phone goes quiet while you record a track, the watch falls back to its own GPS and says so.
• The Live Activity banner now shows real ground speed, GPS altitude, track and the active trip's route.
• Nothing on a glance surface goes quietly stale: values older than a minute are withdrawn and replaced by a reason.

FIXED
• "Insert into Trip" on the map never inserted. It appended, exactly like "Add to Trip" — two menu entries doing the same thing, and the one promising mid-route placement never delivered it.
• The navigation log's course column was labelled HDG but carried a true course: no wind correction and no magnetic variation. It now reads TC, with a separate MC column beside it.
• Deleting several waypoints at once removed the wrong ones.
• METAR and TAF downloads stopped working for everyone when the weather service tightened its API. Restored.
• Premium features were locked on every launch for customers who own them, until they happened to open the Store tab.
• Live Activity: altitude in metres was labelled feet, a 3.28x error.
• Apple Watch: Trip Progress and the trip complication had never shown a trip, and iPhone unit settings never reached the watch.
• GPS altitude is no longer shown as a flight level anywhere. It reads "5,500ft GPS" — without a QNH there is no correct flight level to compute, and that number gets read out over the radio.
• Airspace data now loads country by country under a memory budget, ending the low-memory crashes some iPads saw.

The Flight Info Bar: your numbers on top of every screen, and an awareness band that speaks up about airspace, terrain and traffic before you get there. Free for everyone.

NEW
• Flight Info Bar — a slim instrument strip that follows you across every tab, showing the fields you choose: ground speed, track, GPS altitude, height above terrain, vertical speed, GPS status, distance, time and bearing to the next waypoint, cross-track error, nearest METAR, QNH, UTC and local time, sunset, and highest terrain ahead. Double-tap a cell to switch its units, or track and bearing between true and magnetic.
• Awareness band — appears only when it has something to say: the airspace you are in, controlled or hazard airspace ahead with distance, time to reach it and vertical limits, FIR and country crossings, nearby ADS-B traffic, degraded GPS, approaching twilight, and points of interest below.
• Height above terrain, worldwide — a global elevation model is built into the app, so AGL and terrain-ahead work offline anywhere, with nothing to download first.
• Terrain packs — optional high-resolution elevation for 236 countries, in the Download tab. They are small (Switzerland 0.6 MB, Germany 1.5 MB) and the accuracy gain is large: valley airfields such as Innsbruck and Sion go from hundreds of metres out to within a metre.
• Magnetic track and bearing from the World Magnetic Model 2025, computed in the app rather than read from the device compass, so it stays correct in flight and offline.

The bar is off by default. Switch it on in Settings ▸ Flight Settings, or from the map toolbar; touch and hold that same button to pick your fields.

IMPROVED
• The bar keeps flying when GPS gets thin. It holds the last good values, marks them as coasting, and tells you when the fix is stale or lost instead of quietly freezing.
• Traffic distance and airspace lead time are yours to set, and any single alert category can be silenced without losing the rest.

FIXED
• Airspace geometry, three real errors: airspaces made of several polygons were skipped entirely, cut-outs inside an airspace were ignored, and vertical limits given above ground were read as if above sea level — which affected a fifth of the built-in airspace data. The ruler's airspace cross-section is corrected by the same fix.
• Weather: one airport with a non-standard identifier could fail an entire request, leaving around 300 large airports without METAR or TAF at the default settings.
• A database upgrade could fail on installs carried over from much older versions, breaking trips, photos, notes and saved positions on every launch.
• The climb gradient calculator in Captain's Corner reported rates 100x too high.
• Country names in the terrain pack list are now matched and grouped correctly.
