No longer works on iPhone but still works on iPad. Now can't get weather at all. Asks for favorites then doesn't display anything after that. Please fix. This was a very useful app. Thanks. Even with recent update and icloud on, no weather available. Please fix. ### 3/5 — Handy pilot weather tool *2014-09-02* This pilot tool is very handy to quickly pull up the METARs and TAFs for airports you frequent. Although its not a complete toolbox I use it frequently to determine WX for the go/no-go decision. The wind calculator is handy also, no need to check the wind component chart any longer. The runway conditions tool does not work at my airports. ### 4/5 — Very handy, use it most days. *2012-01-16, version 3.1.5* Does what it does well. Good for crosswinds, HOT confirmation, etc. not quite sure why the guy who gave this one star and called it rubbish thinks this is a game ?!? One slight issue is with runway decodes, sometimes it states the code is invalid, this needs addressing. Very good interface, easy to use. Nice job. ### 2/5 — Could be good *2011-05-08, version 3.1.3* Unfortunately doesn't work. After starting the app a couple of times it's not possible to enter an airport to receive wx reports. ### 4/5 — International flying uses *2011-03-19* This app is used by me during every flight over Russia and China for it's Flight Level Allocation (FLAS) charts for Russia and China. As a ready back up to the source documents on board it is invaluable. The RWY decoder is also very useful. I've had this app for quite a while now and today was the first time that I have had a problem with it not opening. To correct the problem I have had to delete and then reload the app (iPhone 4). It's working fine again. Works perfect. ### 5/5 — GREAT for international airline pilot *2011-01-14* As an international airline pilot, I have used the Feet/Meters conversion in Russian airspace, and the Xwind calculator numerous times. The Runway Report decoder has been useful on occasion to decode SNOWTAM and runway braking. The De-ice/Anti-ice calculator, although not strictly legal to use by airline procedure, would be a great tool for cross-checking Holdover time. These features alone would rate 5 stars and in addition, PToolbox can update airport weather & forecast via WIFI. As a free app., it is a service to the pilot community. THANKS!! Future considerations --- pls include Feet/Meters conversion for Chinese Airspace. ### 5/5 — Good little app *2010-11-18, version 0* Useful for working out crosswind limits when time is limited on the day.
