## What is Pilsa Note?

Pilsa (필사) is the Korean practice of copying a passage you love, by hand. Pilsa Note brings it to iPhone and iPad.

Type a passage, or photograph a book page and let on-device text recognition read it. Pick a sheet — 200- or 400-cell Korean manuscript paper (원고지) or plain ruled paper — and the passage appears faintly behind the grid. Trace it with your finger or Apple Pencil. Finish a page a day and watch your streak grow.

BRING IN A PASSAGE
• Type or paste it, or scan a book page / pick a photo (Apple Vision, on device)
• Page numbers and running headers are filtered out; line-break gaps are fixed in one tap

MANUSCRIPT PAPER DONE RIGHT
• Five real 원고지 rules: indented first cell, two digits/letters per cell, no space at the start of a line, no blank after periods and commas, closing punctuation joins the previous line
• Also ruled paper for any language

WRITE
• Faint source text under your handwriting
• iPhone and iPad, including iPad landscape

KEEP AND EXPORT
• Daily streak journal
• Export a finished page as a PNG card or PDF
• Print a blank practice sheet to write on paper — included, no extra purchase

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no server, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Text, handwriting and photos stay on your device. An exported file leaves your device only when you share it.

One purchase. No subscription, no in-app purchases.
