Crashes constantly. Face ID does not work. It will not remember credentials so you have to input everything every time. After latest update, app won’t open at all. An embarrassment to PNC. ### 1/5 — Get a new CTO! *2021-11-11* This has always been a primitive and unintuitive app compared to the multitude of other bank apps I use both personally and for business. It has now sunk to a new low with iOS 15, it crashes at startup every single time, even if I uninstall then reinstall the app. ### 1/5 — PNC bought our bank *2021-10-29* Our bank was bought out by PNC. It has been the worst experience that we have ever endured. Business and personal banking don’t use same app… so had to download this app for Business Accounts. It crashes and wont open at all. Thanks again PNC you are making it so easy for us to make up our mind to move all of our banking to another financial institute. ### 1/5 — Worst Banking App Ever *2021-07-23, version 2.16.0* This is the worst banking app I have ever used. I just deleted the app and will login through Safari. ### 1/5 — Poor application *2020-12-20* PNC has terrible technology for consumers and businesses. So complicated and crashes all the time. I will be using a different bank in the future. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to make a simple payment. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2026-07-14* Buggy app that doesn’t work in so many ways. Start with that it won’t allow you to paste the complex password that you generate on your password app. Hard to navigate around. Easily the worst bank app I have ever used ### 1/5 — Garbage App *2026-04-27* This app is complete garbage. It’s very difficult to use. Changing passwords is near impossible and they ask you to do it often. Then when you type password, the already typed portion disappears. The login itself is a nightmare. This app would have been at best reasonable’ 10 Years ago. I am seriously considering ditching Business Banking with PNC all in all because of this application. If I happen to get logged in, the app close while in the middle of looking something up or trying to approve a transaction. Very frustrating. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Pinacle *2026-01-26* User friendly ### 3/5 — Face ID now works *2018-12-01* Serviceable app. Still has some issues but it’s usable. ### 2/5 — Face ID not working *2018-07-26* If enable Face ID the screen goes blank after open app. (It seems to stay open in the background). Only way around it to get back to manual input is to uninstall the app and then reinstall and not enable Face ID again. While I reported this weeks ago via phone it has still not been fixed. ### 2/5 — Needs ACH functionality *2014-10-30* Ok, I can log in, but then can do very little other than view my company balance. If I'm logging in from outside the office, it's almost always because I have to approve an ACH release.
