Great way to see pinball machines on location near where you live or wherever you happen to be. ### 5/5 — Needed *2023-07-01* Forever PinFinder Pro user all over America; but it no longer loads & has been removed from App store. This works well (a little confusing at first). Data needs more updating (which means users need to submit more updates). Love it! ### 5/5 — Great App! One suggestion? *2022-12-05* This app is absolutely fantastic. Simple, works well, and does exactly what the title suggests. Also, it's the best way to get your favorite machines in town fixed when something goes wrong because all the pinball techs in town check in regularly. One suggestion for the developers though: Maybe a notification system for when your favorited establishments rotate out a machine? Nothing more disappointing than going in to play your favorite machine only to find they replaced it. Alternatively, if I knew they added something I'm dying to play, I might plan my day around it. Searching for pinball locations with google or similar is extremely hit or miss, and the Pinball Map is always updated and accurate in my experience. The map is easy to use, tells you how far the games are which is a great addition. It gives the users the ability to add or remove games based on them so the map is almost always updated unless you’re in remote areas. Gives the users abilities to comment which I found extremely useful in knowing wether or not a game was playable if you are looking for a specific one. Simple and classic app design and it is all I ever use when I start shaking and foaming at the mouth from pinball withdrawals. Tried several others but this one has the most up-to-date listings and the user community is great! I like it so much and am a location pinball addict that I actually donate to their Patreon since they do a great job and continuously update it. Loved this app when it worked. **Developer response:** Thanks for your view. Best to report issues directly to us so that we see them and can troubleshoot. This issue is resolved now. ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing after last update *2017-05-02, version 4.0.1* I love this app, but the latest update has major problems. It keeps crashing while refreshing regional data. Please fix it so we can all enjoy the app again!! ### 3/5 — App Glitching *2025-04-30* App has worked great for years, all of a sudden it will not show locations if I have Apple Maps running in the background. Most times I open the app now it doesn't show any locations. ### 3/5 — Needs very little to be awesome *2017-05-02, version 4.0.1* Great for finding most local pins. User-maintained database is usually up-to-date. Two things that bug me: 1) does region have to reload every single launch? I rarely leave the region I'm in. Also, the app has been crashing while reloading so it's kinda useless right now. 2) "Nearby" should keep the map zoom location after selecting a location and then going back. Thank you! A couple of feature requests: 1. Add ability to “Share” a venue, via some kind of link that can be sent over messaging, email, etc. Goal would be that on receiving a shared link, clicking on it would open the Pinball Map app and display the specified venue. 2. Ability to “Share” the current map region with a link. Similar to above, but where clicking on the link would open Pinball Map to the specified map region. 3. Ability to type game names directly into the search bar without having to go through the filter dialogs. My friends and I search for specific games as often or more so than we browse for new venues. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We have always had a share button for a venue. It's in the upper right when viewing a location. ### 4/5 — Prefer the region and legacy format *2019-06-18, version 5.0.0* I’m sure it will improve but really missing the region format as it was perfect for when we travel. I could always select a region such as Dallas or Houston or DC and immediately get a machine or location listing of all pinball machines in that area (prior to traveling). It may be better now if you’re using the app real time while in a particular area but as far as browsing a listing of games and or locations in a region the totally redone version June 2019 5.0 is definitely not ideal for scoping out an area prior to traveling. Also it no more displays all machines at a location (there’s a “more” button). I hope the dev has he time and ability to keep updating g the app constantly to get this total rewrite to the elite status that the app had maintained.
