Even though I’m connected to the internet I get a message telling me I’m not and I must be to use Skillz. This is an update. A year later I get an error message saying I must be connected yet I’m clearly on the internet. So that message makes no sense. I have played this in the past with zero issues, so what is going on now? ### 1/5 — Blödsinn, macht keinen Spaß *2020-04-07* Läuft zwar einwandfrei auf dem Ipad Mini 3, macht aber gar keinen Spaß. Die Flipper springen zusammen, dann macht die Kugel sich selbständig und geht irgendwann ins Seitenaus. Direkt wieder gelöscht. ### 1/5 — Can’t really rate what I can’t play *2020-01-18* I have tried 3-4 times to access this game. The only thing that it will do is open and go to what I guess is the home screen and freeze. Time to uninstall unless y’all have a fix ### 1/5 — Another game that tries to steal your wallet *2019-10-21* This is a terrible, terrible pinball game with a horribly designed table that, of course, has 3 different currencies, becsuse of course they want you to pay, pay, pay and then pay dome more. These developers try to get their hands in your wallet and never give it back. At least with their previous pinball games, they had the decency to charge you a one-off fee and the game is yours. But that's not good enough anymore. Avoid unless you hate having money. ### 1/5 — What’s the point *2019-08-08* Why the hell would I pay should say it before you download ### 1/5 — Boring table *2019-06-27* The table is nowhere near as detailed as what you see in Pinball Arcade (only 47 tutorial slides and half of them are how to use the plunger, flippers and nudges). The puny, short flippers feel wimpy, have a giant gap between them, and the only real strategy is to hit an unreliable skill shot. This would be a real quarter muncher if it were an actual table in an arcade. Between the short flippers and massive kickers, expect plenty of games where the ball drains before you can even make a shot. Even when you do get a shot, there are no loops to aim for, just two multiball targets and a set of bumpers at the top. Also, There aren’t many players so you can play multiple games without getting matched to an opponent. If the table was enjoyable this wouldn’t be as much of an issue, but it’s simply not rewarding to play. Between this and losing licenses for my favorite tables (Theatre and Arabian Nights) I’m Disappointed in Far Sight. ### 1/5 — Pin Head crap *2019-01-16* This game functions don’t work like the flippers, gutter ball almost every time. You play the same person that scores 90,000 and you can’t ever beat it! ### 2/5 — Crashes and I lost money *2018-11-13* The game was working ok and was pretty fun until I actually played for cash, then it started crashing in the middle of games. Of course, I lose my money. I saw another post about this so it’s not an isolated issue. Also, you have to READ THE FADED FINE PRINT on how to get your money if you do happen to win more than you deposited. You can’t just get it right back the way you deposited it. READ IT if you can even see it. Another negative, there’s only one theme which gets boring really fast. How did this app get more than 3 stars??? seems very suspect. Thank you. :) ### 1/5 — Just garbage and pointless *2018-08-19* This “game” is just a waste of time. All you do is play one table that looks so bland and boring. There is no real skill or ball physics to this table, you just pray that you hit the shots you actually want. And the stupidest part of this game is the makers expect you to PAY to compete and win in this game. You have to be really stupid to think you can actually win real money in this game, you only have one table to play and it’s not a very good table at that. Tried to email support but the last step to submit is to “log in to your account “ Shame on you for blocking support access ### 1/5 — It doesn’t work *2024-08-20* Can’t rate any higher because it doesn’t work and should be removed from the app store. I’m on iPhone 13, zero issue with handset. The app is simply broken. I love this game and having fun here. I wish good health to all my pinball friends. Please be well. I love the head to head competition here. Mikedinoak explained this game well here recently, but I can't find his comments now. Docbeaglebottom and Mikedinoak and a couple of others are formidable opponents indeed. I am OleJefe on here. Yes, the opening skill shot counts big. Yet, you can make hay even if you miss it the first time. I am 68 yrs old. I may be wrong but I think you guys are probably younger. You guys rock, that's for sure. Hey pinball tournament guys, good job making a fun game for all ages! More for the new people: Practice the opening skill shot. Practice the ball-lock. Learn to trust friendly bounces. Don't get discouraged; a relatively low score may be a winner depending on the match-up. That's what I do. Seems to work well. Marc 24601 describes very well the mechanics of the game. Look up his comments. Also check marc24601 comments about all of this. He explained it well. Nuances. Try to catch and cradle the ball. When at rest, the ball offers a chance to aim. In multi ball, don't aim at another flying ball. Misery guaranteed. Ok, now I have a beef. Lately many of my games don't get matched up, whether for 2, 10, 50 or for money. So they become cancelled. And so all my efforts are for nought. Yes, I have won many. But now any good score I post is likely lost. This is frustrating. Happening now for a week or more. Support, are you listening? Today 28 June2021 my account is gone. Along with a couple hundred US dollars. Trying to reach admin. Argghhh. Ok fixed within an hour. Sorry for the late edit here. 5 stars most of the time. But I can’t redeem any cash. I have around $270 in my account here and I wanted to withdraw some cash. Dead end after jumping through some hoops… :-( OK now I'm trying to add cash to a new account on a new iPad. Doesn't work. But it has yet to be updated to scale on iPhone XS or XS Max, so I have not played in a while. Major issues on iPad are that the game crashes frequently and the ‘report a crash’ form doesn’t work, so you can’t efficiently report the issue. Not cool if you get a crash on a cash game, especially a $5 or $10 game, as the game treats it as an abandoned game and instant lose (unless the other player also crashes, which is hen a tie). I’ve been trying to get ahold of support for 2 weeks now, and no response. Player ID is MikeDinOak.
