This game used to be free to play when Pineapple was all the rage. But it was popular because a lot of users were real life poker players playing for real life stakes in the side. So, yes, if one is playing several acquaintances for real stakes, one would find it equitable to pay for the subscription. Unfortunately, this game is no longer trendy. If one just wants to play solitaire agains the bot, it's doesn't make sense to pay the monthly subscription, let alone $180 per year. It's really unfortunate because I like playing Pineapple, but as I said, people have moved on to mix and dealers choice, and I can't in good conscience recommend this app to my non-gaming progress friends for fun.
