## What is PineOS?

Pine turns a photo of your meal into calories and macros in seconds. No database searching, no serving size guesswork, no four minute logging sessions.

Most people do not quit tracking because they stop caring. They quit because logging a sandwich takes longer than eating one. Pine removes that friction.

LOG A MEAL FOUR WAYS

Photo. Point the camera at your plate. Pine estimates the ingredients, the portions and the macros. Nothing saves until you have looked at it and adjusted anything you want to change.

Describe. Type it or say it out loud. "Grilled chicken wrap with avocado and a little garlic sauce" becomes an editable log in seconds.

Barcode. Scan packaged food, adjust the serving, log it.

Search or manual. Everything you would expect, for the times you want to enter it yourself.

IT KEEPS YOUR NUMBERS

Say 200 g and you get 200 g. Some trackers quietly swap the amount you typed for a standard serving, which is one of the reasons the numbers stop adding up. Pine treats a stated amount as fact and works around it. When a food is genuinely ambiguous, it says so instead of guessing.

PINE COACH

Ask it anything. Coach knows what you have actually eaten this week, so you get a straight answer in context rather than a dashboard read back at you.

Ask why the scale has not moved. Ask what to have for dinner with what you have left. Ask whether your protein is where it needs to be. Coach answers from your own logs, not from generic rules.

It also will not lecture you. No shame, no cheat days, no earning food back. One imperfect day is data, not a failure.

THE REST OF YOUR DAY

Calorie and macro trends across 7, 14 and 30 days
Water tracking
Weigh ins and weight trend
Steps and activity through Apple Health
Streaks and achievements
Saved meals, so a regular breakfast is one tap
Works offline. Anything logged without a connection syncs when you are back.

BUILT WITH RESTRAINT

Pine is a calm, dark, deliberately quiet app. No guilt notifications, no engagement tricks. It is designed to be opened, used for a few seconds, and closed.

PRIVACY

Your meals, your logs and your conversations with Coach are yours.
