**Ping Monkey — reliability release**

This update is all about accuracy and staying rock-solid during long monitoring runs.

• **More accurate timing.** Your ping interval is now the true time *between* pings. It
  previously drifted longer whenever a host was slow or down, which skewed session stats.
• **Alerts you actually asked for.** Smart Alerting now sends notifications, sounds, and
  webhooks for the anomalies it detects — previously it recorded them silently.
• **No more repeat alerts.** Multi-host mode no longer replays an old "recovered" notice
  every time a host returns to healthy.
• **A menu bar you can read.** The dropdown no longer closes under your cursor while
  monitoring.
• **Leaner long sessions.** Detected events are now capped and rotated, so multi-day runs
  stay light on memory. Statistics are much cheaper to compute in multi-host mode.
• **Reliable diagnostics.** DNS and TCP checks now honour their timeouts instead of
  hanging, and cancelling a traceroute actually stops it.
• Plus fixes to session deletion, host input handling, and live settings changes.
