## What is PinKeep™?

PinKeep makes it easy to save, organize, and share the places you want to remember. Whether you're planning a vacation, building a list of restaurants to try, or keeping track of favorite places, PinKeep keeps everything organized in one place.

Save places shared from Google Maps and organize them by location, category, tags, favorites, Want to Go, and custom collections. Create collections for trips, cities, restaurants, family recommendations, or anything else you want to keep together.

SHARE YOUR COLLECTIONS

Create a collection of places and share it with friends or family using a PinKeep file. Recipients can preview the collection and choose which places they want to import into their own PinKeep library.

ORGANIZE YOUR WAY

• Save and manage places
• Organize by state, city, category, and tags
• Mark favorites and places you Want to Go
• Create reusable collections
• Filter large place libraries quickly
• Import and export PinKeep collections
• Keep private notes on your saved places

PINKEEP PRO

Upgrade to PinKeep Pro for additional features, including importing shared collections, custom fields, and additional backup and restore capabilities.

PinKeep Pro is available with Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime purchase options. Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions managed through your Apple ID account. The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase.

YOUR DATA, YOUR LIBRARY

PinKeep is designed around a local-first approach. Your saved place library is stored on your device, and you control when information is exported or shared.

Whether you're planning your next trip or simply keeping track of places you never want to forget, PinKeep gives you a simple way to keep them organized.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-10-27

What’s New in PinKeep™ 1.4.0

• Added collection filters to help you find and organize saved places.
• Added support for importing map links from Google Chrome and Safari.
• Updated PinKeep™ branding throughout the app.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-10-17

What's New in PinKeep 1.3.0

IMPORT PLACES IN BULK
• New: Import PinKeep JSON. Bring in up to 500 places at once from an AI trip planner, a travel agent, or a list you made yourself. Add them to your library, a new collection, or one you already have.
• Copy AI Prompt gives you a ready-made request to paste into your favorite AI. It returns a PinKeep file you can open or paste straight in.
• Review everything before it's saved. Fix any problems in the preview, and decide what happens when an entry looks like a place you already have.
• PinKeep finds coordinates for imported places that don't have them, in the background, so they open in the right spot.

DETAILS AND PRIVATE NOTES
• Places now have Details: the shareable facts about a place, like what it's known for, when to go, and what to order.
• Notes are now called Private Notes and stay private. They are never shared, and an import can never overwrite them.

SMARTER DUPLICATE DETECTION
• PinKeep now recognizes a place you've already saved even when the new copy has less information, such as no state, postal code, or coordinates. Re-importing the same place no longer creates a second copy.

BETTER GOOGLE MAPS LINKS
• Open in Google Maps now goes to the business listing, with its hours, photos, and reviews, instead of a plain pin.

HOW-TO VIDEOS
• New in Settings > About PinKeep: a How-to Videos link to PinKeep tutorials and walkthroughs on YouTube.

Plus stability improvements and fixes.
