## What is Pinkiri?

You get a secret 91. The theme is "Scary animals", from not scary at all to terrifying. You say "a shark". Now the whole table argues about whether your shark is an 80 or a 95.

Pinkiri is a party game on one iPhone that you pass around. No cards, no accounts, no Wi-Fi. 3 to 8 players, plus a Duo mode for two.

HOW TO PLAY
- Everyone gets a secret number from 1 to 100.
- Say one word from the theme that matches your number. Never say the number.
- Line up from smallest to biggest, then flip the cards one by one.
- A card out of order costs a life. 3 rounds, 3 lives, and a flawless round wins one back.

Nobody wins alone: the table plays together. The best moment is the flip, when the quiet friend who said "a hamster" turns out to be holding a 97.

FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
- Classic: all together, 3 rounds, 3 lives.
- Duo: just the two of you, a few cards each.
- Hourglass teams: two teams, same theme. The first team's time becomes the second team's clock.
- Line leader: one player has no card and sorts everyone else alone.
- Streak: one life, endless rounds. How far can your group go?

600+ THEMES
Things to save from a fire. Excuses for being late. Noises at night. Celebrities to invite to dinner. Bad surprises at a restaurant.

They come in 16 categories: Classic, Food, Animals, Manga, Movies, Shows, Music, Video games, Party, 18+, Love, Childhood, Work, Travel, Sports and Internet. Mix them all, pick one for tonight, or write your own themes.

Bring it out on game night, at a dinner party, at Thanksgiving with the cousins, or at 1 a.m. when nobody wants to go home yet.

The name comes from the Japanese ピンキリ, "from the very best to the very worst". That is the scale every round is played on.
