Features on the caddie are crippled unless you pay. Why buy the caddie if you can use your phone or iPad with a better app that does the same thing for far less. ### 1/5 — Currently doesn’t sink holes with unit *2026-06-01, version 1.10.1* Speaker works fine for music. Unfortunately you need to track round on your phone as it doesn’t display on the unit. I love to be able to have the front, middle, back etc. on my watch to see it from the ball instead of the cart. Sometimes I walk and don’t have the speaker with me but would still want to use the app without pulling my phone out. I was pleasantly surprised because of how many other golf apps there are. It’s the perfect combo you can use the app to keep score/get more detailed information and the smart speaker lets you get all the quick distances live on every hole so you’re heads not stuck in your phone the entire round.
