The story was obviously translated to English and uses some incorrect or awkward words and phrases. I found this to be true of all the stories I downloaded from this company. Very disappointing. I've had to delete them. ### 1/5 — Shocking *2011-04-01, version v1.5* This has shocking English and is not the sort of thing to help your child become better at speaking and grammar. There are not only terrible mistakes, the story is lost in this poor translation. However, if you at all interested in your children readin the story as we know it, in a written word that is good English or listening to a language they can understand then this app is not for you. It also states the story has a unique sound, and I can confirm this is true ! APPLE : should not you be inform your members, or better still putting books in categories by language. The way English is spoken is dreadful and an obvious translation from an Asian language. Pronunciation is very bad and background voices make it difficult to listen to. The person speaking aloud does not seem to be able to speak English very well.
