### 2/5 — Ridiculous

*2026-05-01, version 26.0.4*

The hands dealt are often ridiculous. Computer player will get numerous runs along with other meld.

### 4/5 — Good game play

*2026-01-04, version 26.0.4*

Game play is good to very good. The one criticism I have is that the deals seem to be less than random.

### 3/5 — Partner is buzzed

*2025-12-12, version 26.0.4*

My computer partner makes some dumb moves at times. Do you interview or do drug and alcohol tests on these so called partners, I swear they don’t even know the game

### 2/5 — Awful partner

*2025-12-11, version 26.0.4*

Horrible partner

### 2/5 — Bill

*2024-04-19, version 8.9.0*

You get 1 good hand the other players get 20 good hands . Your team will win mostly without you!

### 4/5 — My partner

*2023-03-24, version 8.8.2*

Could use more common sense

### 3/5 — Too easy

*2022-04-29, version 8.2.0*

I’ve been “throwing ’knucks” since I learned 30 years ago while in the Air Force.

The number of double runs in this game is unrealistic.

I also have to actively try to lose and sometimes I still end up winning.

I’m good but not that good.

Please add difficulty levels and make the most difficult level really challenging.

Otherwise the interface and usability is phenomenal. Kudos the design.

### 4/5 — Pinochle

*2021-12-22*

Great game except North will not pass 10. He will pass the K,Q,J before passing a 10. Also, I’ve found North to bid a 3 card suit when he has a better 4 card suit and will fold too easily after I’ve bid.

### 4/5 — Need some developers with actual pinochle experience

*2020-12-12*

I don’t know how many times my "partner" has hung onto a king or queen to get a few meld points instead of passing it to get 30. And that is at the Insane setting. It’s INSANE for sure!

### 5/5 — I can’t get the Game Center results!!!! Please HELP!!!

*2020-10-08, version 7.6.2*

Help!!!! With GAME CENTER

### 5/5 — Pinochle

*2020-09-04, version 7.6.2*

Love playing this game, everything works great, smooth

### 5/5 — Pinochle great!

*2020-08-18*

Pinochle is my favorite game, played nearly 70 years, 3 days a week before COVID-19. This game is excellent, stands out above the others I’ve downloaded.

### 5/5 — Hands

*2020-08-12, version 7.6.1*

Too often hands repeat

### 3/5 — Irrational bidding

*2020-07-31, version 7.6.1*

The robot hand often bids ridiculous amounts, just bidding up

### 2/5 — Nope

*2020-04-22, version 7.5.2*

I have never had a partner who plays so badly.
Not worth the $

### 4/5 — After melding

*2020-04-14*

Many times, when the player takes the bid, and then melds plenty of points so that he/she only needs to take the mandatory 20 points, we still receive a message asking if the player wants to Concede the Hand. That’s very frustrating.

I can understand the question anytime more than 20 points are necessary to make the bid, but when only the obligatory or mandatory 20 points are necessary, the question should not come up. Please correct this, Thank you. DTB.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not impressed

*2026-03-09, version 26.0.4*

The game is entertaining but not very realistic. The deal is not random and the AI bidding is terrible. From a realistic standpoint this game is pretty bad.

### 1/5 — Not true multiplayer

*2022-01-17, version 8.2.0*

cannot invite three friends to play the game. Worthless!

### 1/5 — Same cards all the time

*2021-02-24, version 7.8.1*

I love the game of pinochle but tired of playing the same cards over and over. Please play new games of cards!!!

### 1/5 — Ok, but not capable of proper rules

*2021-02-16, version 7.8.1*

This game allows winning a hand or keeping your meld without saving. No skill required, just get more meld than the other guy. No need to save double queens for example, you automatically get your meld. VERY BIG BUG.

### 1/5 — Another huge accessibility bug for a blind player

*2020-04-01*

Hi, along with not being able to read what trump is with the voiceover screen reader on iphone, I also can't tell what the score of the game in progress is. Uh, that's kind of a big problem!!!! I sent emails regarding both issues to the developer so hopefully this review + those emails will help fix the issue. Other than those two rather important issues, it's a great game and very accessible.

### 1/5 — A rigged game

*2019-12-14, version 7.0.7*

Worst deals possible. Checked over 50 deals. The East-West, alway have a better playing hand. The E-W generally have a 70% chance of getting a run. Not so for North-South.

### 1/5 — TOTALLY CRAP

*2019-10-20*

This game is totally worthless! Doesn’t correctly pass meld, pass aces, or understand the game! If opponent gets bid they get 50 + meld and most of the aces. And go right to their partner even without a lead back. Your partner has no idea how to play or recognize an ace lead back or not much of anything! Don’t waste your money! I have already scrubbed it from my iPad! I want a total refund!

### 1/5 — Glitch

*2019-01-31, version 6.6.0*

After every game screen goes blank. Awful.

### 1/5 — Piece of crap!

*2019-01-30, version 6.6.0*

Piece of crap! Fix it!!!!!

### 1/5 — Passing

*2018-10-06, version 6.3.0*

Very weird passing From your partner

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fun!

*2026-04-09, version 26.0.4*

Spent money to get the ad free and couldn’t be happier! Fun game, works great

### 5/5 — Super Duper, good player!

*2024-05-28, version 8.9.0*

'i can win against every computer!!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome Game

*2023-10-23, version 8.9.0*

I configured it to play 90% similar to the way we play in Philadelphia. Love the app, highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — Vision problems

*2023-05-24*

I think the score board should be under Norths cards or above South for easier reading- I would like cards to alternate colors because for people with vision problems would could see them better vs thinking they have a run when actually they have diamonds and hearts together and bid accordingly.

### 5/5 — Unfair bidding and hands

*2022-11-14*

How is it when East and west bring in a bid with no aces then his partner has all four of them? How can they get back to back double runs or 1000 aces. How come the other team always remember every trump that is played.

### 5/5 — Enjoy the options

*2021-11-22*

I enjoy the options given playing pinochle gold. You can replay a hand, show all cards which is handy for learning, shoot the moon, and much more.

### 5/5 — Great game, would like more rule options

*2021-08-09*

Great game. My only wish is that there would be a couple of rule modifications available. I grew up playing a version that each player only bids once, and kings and queens are both worth 5 points. Each of these rules changes gameplay in an interesting way, and it would be great to have the option to turn these features on.

### 5/5 — Pinochle

*2021-07-01, version 8.0.2*

Pinochle is a great game which teaches as well as allowing you get better with your skills. It is satisfying beating the computer.

### 5/5 — Love this game

*2020-12-13*

I’ve played this for years and love it. Over the years I have made a few suggestions and they have been responded to and usually implemented (once immediately). I’m remiss in not doing a review till now.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2020-11-21, version 7.8.1*

Great fun
