I think it should not count it as an open frame since I filled it with a strike. ### 4/5 — Love the App, but adding a couple options would make it incredible *2025-07-10, version 7.0.8* I’ve been tracking my shots for years now with this app, in leagues, tournaments and at nationals. It’s been one of the best resources in my bag for improving my game, especially when I’m struggling. One thing I really would love to see is an integration with the Apple Watch. If it could track release information, that would be awesome. But more important would be if I could update the app in real time when I’m still down waiting for the ball return to quickly mark the pins. ### 4/5 — Good app *2025-02-20, version 7.0.8* Very good app. Just wish you could keep track of the pair of lanes you bowl on so you can compare lanes in a bowling center. Future updates/features to consider for the developer: possible addition of a set of editable and selectable yes/no question(s) that can be answered for each frame, which then gets compiled with statistics. For example, if I wanted to practice my balance that game, I would select “Did I keep my balance?” for that game (the same as you would select a ball or oil pattern), then each frame I would select yes or no, which would then be compiled into the stats for that question. It’s awesome for newbies and pros alike. Keeps great track of all of the pertinent info one could need. My only issue is that you can’t adjust what kind of League it is you’re bowling. I do regular leagues, as well as 9-Pin-Tap fun leagues, and I’d like to be able to differentiate between the two. I’d also like to be able to eliminate certain leagues from the formula, so as to get a more accurate picture of my numbers. Still an awesome app though! I wish there was a way it would maintain my data on different devices. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 4th game options for leagues *2021-10-19, version 6.0.4* Everything is great the only thing I have a problem with is if I’m bowl in a league that bowls more than 3 games, we should have a option to keep adding games for league play. ### 2/5 — Used to like it *2024-12-20, version 7.0.8* Used to like this a lot, but found out it’s not keeping good stats. Bowled 8 strikes in a row, but it only said I had 2 in a row. Now I’m questioning all of the stats ### 2/5 — Stats are not right *2022-08-11, version 6.0.4* Aesthetically, this is the best app. But practically, it is useless. The stats are completely incorrect. When using filters to run stats, the results don’t match the data. I have noticed several situations when the stats didn’t make sense with the data, but the latest issue I have is that I have 7 games with a particular ball, but the stats show just 2. And yes, I triple checked to make sure that all 7 games had that ball selected in the input data. Maybe it is just the filters that are not being calculated correctly, but how can the rest be trusted? ### 2/5 — Not worth $9 *2021-04-10, version 6.0.3* I didn’t realize the app is not compatible with the iPad or that it did not support more than one bowler. If I am missing something please let me know. ### 3/5 — Ok App, outdated with no develop action *2025-05-13, version 7.0.8* The app works, and is easy to use, however there are things about it that need updating and it seems the developer has given up working on it. You can’t sort your bowling balls in the list of balls. That’s ok if you have a small amount, but it’s a complete nightmare if you have a lot like me. Also, the ball list is just a single line text entry. In other apps you can upload pictures and input notes like layout, ball type, etc. If the developer would just update the app, add new features every once in a while, this would probably be the best bowling tracker available. ### 3/5 — Really do love the app but… *2021-11-14, version 6.0.4* This app is awesome in every way except you can’t use it between your devices and it doesn’t back up to the cloud. So when upgrade phone like I did… lose it all because didn’t back up to computer first which I of course didn’t remember I needed to do. I upgrade my phone pretty much every 2 years. And I bowl a lot of tournaments and in a league. It would be really awesome if this backed up. It’s useful, not horrible to use, and the backup/restore facility is gold. BUT the interface really needs a tune up. The wood color scheme would have been cheesy a decade ago, landscape orientation is a must have, IMHO. I’d love to see some formatting options for the game score display to make it easier to read and WhatsApp sharing would be cool too. My whole history of inconsistency is there for me to see. Problem is, I now bowl in a league that bowls 4 games a night. There is no setting to change the league format in the app, so now I need to find a new app to let me keep track of scores regardless of the number of games per night. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the review. You are able to configure how many games per week your league bowls when you create the league. Once the league is created that setting can’t be changed. It's been incredibly reliable, cheap, and 85% of what I want on a day-to-day basis. I'd pay double the cost for a few more clicks into the stats categories (e.g. if I miss a spare I want to see what date that spare was missed so it's easier to find in my League/Tournaments selections; maybe able to change bowling balls on spares so I can see percentages of different bowling balls used at specific spares).
