## What is Pintly Passport?

Pintly Passport turns every brewery visit into a stamp in your own craft-beer passport.
Part travel journal, part beer logbook, part discovery map — it's the beautiful, private
way to remember every pint, every brewery, and every tasting room you've ever set foot
in.
STAMP YOUR JOURNEY
• Log a visit and watch a satisfying passport stamp slam onto the page.
• Track breweries visited, beers logged, and states explored on your home dashboard.
• Every visit keeps the date, your notes, the beers you had, and your photos.
LOG EVERY PINT
• Rate beers with five amber stars, add tasting notes, and flag your favorites.
• Search across every brewery, beer, and visit in an instant.
• Browse your beers by style, rating, or brewery.
EXPLORE THE MAP
• See your whole brewery universe on one map — amber pins for the ones you've stamped,
teal for new ones nearby.
• Find breweries near you with an adjustable search radius.
• Tap any pin for hours, directions, and one-tap "Add to Passport."
PLAN THE ROAD TRIP
• Group breweries into lists like "Vermont Weekend" or "Coastal Crawl."
• Preview the driving route across your stops with total time and per-stop distances.
• Drag to reorder your stops, then open the whole multi-stop route in Apple Maps.
BREWFEST — FOR FESTIVAL DAYS
• Sampling dozens of pours at a beer festival? Log them all in one quick flow — brewery,
beer, style, rating, notes, and photos.
• Keep the ones worth remembering with one tap to add them to your collection.
KEEP IT FOREVER
• Export a beautifully formatted PDF keepsake, or take your data as CSV, anytime.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• Everything lives on your iPhone. No account. No sign-up. No tracking. No ads.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-09-05

Your passport, backed up.

• Back Up & Restore — save your whole passport (breweries, visits, beers, photos, lists
and Brewfests) to a single file, and bring it back on a new phone or after a reinstall.
Send it anywhere from the share sheet; AirDrop it and tap "Open in Pintly Passport".
Part of Premium — the free trial can restore 5 breweries and 5 beers.

• Import from a spreadsheet — download the template, fill it in, and bring years of
visits in at once. The guide is built in.

• Log a Visit knows where you are — the brewery you're standing in is picked for you,
and the ones nearby are listed first.

• Find any brewery or beer fast — the pickers now search, and an A–Z strip jumps
straight to a letter. Logging a beer you've had before updates it instead of making a
duplicate, and a style you type can join your list.

• Keep the cards you share — shared visit cards can save to Photos automatically (you'll
be asked once), and you can share again with a different photo.

Plus a fix for a crash when closing the share offer after logging a visit.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-27

Better brewery discovery on the map.

• "Search Here" now finds breweries in rural areas it used to leave empty — including
ones just across the border. The map shows only what's inside the area you're
looking at, and says so plainly when there's nothing there. If a search comes up
empty, tap the notice to look wider.

• Choose what the Find Nearby shortcut opens — long-press the app icon, and it can
open the nearby list, the brewery map, or a search by name. Pick yours in
  Settings.

Plus fixes to the nearby list, the route-stop picker and the brewery card's map.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-21

Breweries near you, on your Home Screen.

• NEW WIDGET (Premium Plus) — see the brewery you're closest to without opening the
app. Wishlist, somewhere worth a return, or something new nearby. Home Screen and
Lock Screen, in every size. Tap through for directions, or step through the
breweries around you right on the widget.

• SHARE A VISIT — turn any visit into a card worth posting: the brewery, the date,
the beers you rated, and your note. Pick which of your photos goes on it. Free for
  everyone.

• Find us on Instagram and Facebook — links are in Settings.

Plus a round of map fixes: directions and "where is this" are now separate, route stops
are numbered on every map, and tapping an unsaved brewery always shows its card.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-11

Bug fixes and stability improvements, plus clearer wording about what's included in the
free tier after your trial.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-09

CANADA, PROPERLY SUPPORTED
Provinces now work everywhere states do — saved with your breweries, shown in addresses, filtered on the Breweries tab, and searchable. Canadian breweries turn up in search for the first time, and postal codes are kept correctly.

DISTANCES IN KILOMETRES
Distances follow where you are, so you'll see kilometres in Canada and miles in the US, with no setting to find. Prefer to choose? Settings has Automatic, Miles and Kilometers.

FILTER BY STATE OR PROVINCE
The Breweries tab gets the same filter style as Beers: tap States or Provinces, pick as many as you like, and see how many breweries are in each. A count shows how much the filter is hiding.

BETTER ADDRESSES
Street addresses that used to come up blank when adding a brewery are now filled in, ZIP codes keep their leading zero, and addresses read the same everywhere in the app.

FEWER DUPLICATES
A brewery listed under two names — "Adirondack Pub and Brewery" and "Adirondack Brewery" — now shows once. The app checks the phone number and location, not just the name.

SEARCH THE MAP BY NAME
Explore now has "Search by Name" to jump straight to a brewery on the map, and picking one opens its details instead of leaving you to find the pin.
