PINtPOINT Beer Radar

Scan is now called Radar — The tab was always a radar: the same dial, the same sweep, and the name everything else already used for it. Beers replaces the Discover tab — Live tap lists grouped by pub, each under its name in gold and how far it is. Browsing for undiscovered venues is gone; adding a pub by hand isn't. Unearthed Blips — The Radar automatically adds undiscovered pubs it finds as you move, ringed amber for their first 24 hours. Figments — Some pubs only ever existed in fiction. They now sit on the radar as a hollow purple ring rather than the filled dot a closed pub gets, so a film set is never mistaken for a lost local, and Ghost Hunter counts them apart from the real dead. Harry's Bar, from The Day the Earth Caught Fire, is the first — the category is built to take more. Create-a-Crawl moved to Venues, Tap Roulette to the radar dial — Both now sit where you would look for them: crawls with the pubs, the wheel with the thing that spins. Curated Collections — Sets of pubs held together by something other than distance: a brewery's old tied houses, a vanished London chain, a guide from 1999. Each opens on a map with a tally you tick off over weeks rather than in an evening, and the ones that have closed open into their ghost. One freshness rule everywhere — "On tap" means seen in the last seven days, on every screen and on the website. A beer eight days old used to count on one surface and not on another. On the wrist — The Pick triangle follows the crown: widen the range and it moves to the best pub reachable at that range.
