Awful that pioneer makes you use an app to schedule your mini split to come on. Now my app doesn’t even say that I have a device on it and it can’t find it to reconnect. The a/c works good but this experience will definitely make me not buy a pioneer product again. ### 1/5 — Serious Flaws *2025-06-28, version 1.0.5* The app is functional but isn’t routinely updated. Example: A test message keeps appearing about the temperature being to low & to set it at 79 degrees. In winter or summer. ### 1/5 — I also can’t find the reset button *2023-06-16, version 1.0.3* I have the pioneer mini split 12000 inverter++. The app says put the device in pairing mode by holding the reset button. I can’t find a reset button on the inverter, so I can’t use the app. The scanner in the app on the usb stick doesn’t work either. ### 1/5 — Lacks Instructions *2022-04-14, version 1.0.2* I want to add my mini split to the app but none of the step by step app instructions seem to apply to the mini split. It asks for me to press the reset button but the AC has no reset button. ### 2/5 — meh *2026-01-20, version 1.0.8* the app is okay, for my ecoasis 150 it’s very limited and looks terrible to be honest, it definitely would benefit from some solid work. I do have a issue where the filter reset button will not stay on. ### 2/5 — Often fails *2025-05-01, version 1.0.5* Schedules sometimes fail to run. Changing modes will set temperature to some random high temp. Running tap to run doesn't set temperature?to the temperautue in the tap to run , so you have to tap it twice. Very buggy ### 3/5 — Great performance but lacks key features *2025-12-14, version 1.0.8* I love the app, very easy to use and performs very well. However, with my new vertex series ducted split system, it’s lacking some key features like controller programming and the BIGGEST PROBLEM is that is doesn’t show status or give control over my auxiliary heating coil currently. The tech support line was very responsive but still waiting for a response to correct this issue, if the issue gets corrected I will update my review for 5 stars. ### 3/5 — App is good for remote control. No so good at weather *2024-06-07, version 1.0.5* The app is awesome if you just want to adjust the temp or schedule on and off. But the Home weather and automation weather is totally inaccurate. It’s 105 outside and the app says 88 so triggering the scene to control devices does not function. Opened a FAQ case and it’s been crickets for weeks. Please fix the weather data :-) ### 3/5 — Hardware works well, the app needs attention *2022-12-19, version 1.0.2* The app Lexia ability to show the outside temp, and the user interface uses a two color system on some buttons that is ambiguous. For instance when you press the button to turn on the unit it already says on, but the unit actually off. When you press the button it glows a solid color in the word changes to off. I guess the intent is the next time you press it it will turn it off? It’s a silly design. ### 3/5 — Works as advertised *2022-09-13, version 1.0.2* Initially had a problem registering the app but was eventually able to do so. Works great and allows integration with Alexa. It could use more features. A master timer switch would be nice to turn off all timers with one button. An alternating feature would also be nice. When you have a configuration of multiple units it would be nice to cycle them on and off in sequence without having to set up multiple timers. I see the last update was nine months ago. The units are so much more effective if a schedule is built into it using the Pioneer Airlink Application or equivalent. All units are great products with awesome returns for both the installer/techs and customers. I can always find an option to accommodate a space. The one thing it’s missing that I have on most all other HVAC related apps is the room temperature. This only shows the temp the unit is set to… no display of the room temperature. This would be a great addition as I like to be able to easily reference the difference between set temp and room temp. Hopefully. The developers see this review and give us a great update to this app! ### 4/5 — Works for my split unit *2025-12-30, version 1.0.8* Just got a new Pioneer Quantum split unit. The app linked to the WiFi/Bluetooth just fine. The setup required me to create an account. One drawback is now I cannot see anything about my account. Other issues with the interface like overlapping icons. And in “more” what is a “eight_add_hot” button? Should the label be “8 Degrees Warmer”? BIG ISSUE - I can download it to my M1 Mac but it won’t launch.
