Emailed them for foam replacements and was quickly accommodated. ### 5/5 — Extremely good *2019-12-21* Really this review is as much if not more about the Pioneer Rayz Pro earpods. They are without a doubt the best earpods I've ever had. They make every other set I've had sound flat and tinny in comparison. The app allows you to take advantage of all the features and preference settings of the earpods such as a simple equaliser and noise reduction settings plus Pioneer's fourth customisable function button. Noise reduction is largely dependent on how well the pods fit your ears and Pioneer provides many silicon and foam tips to make this as good as possible and a function in the app to help you find the ideal fit. Yes there are probably better in ear speakers out there but not for this price with an iPhone compatible plug plus a unique charge port that gives you the ability to charge your iPhone while listening to the pods. ### 5/5 — Excellent customizations *2019-12-18* ANC, voice isolation, equalizer, and on and on. ### 5/5 — Well Done. After two weeks of light use stopped working mid-song. iPhone claimed it suddenly wasn’t compatible. The app is stuck in the start up loop so I can’t get to firmware update. The microphone for calls is rubbish. App opens, but does not recognize headphones so you cannot calibrate them. You can still play them, but I have to unhook them, plug into iPhone, calibrate on iPhone with same app and then plug back into iPad. The sound goes through, but the app don’t let to configure anything. Just shows the Welcome Screen and tells to connect the earphone, but it doesn’t recognizes it. The charge port option has been super useful, the noise cancelling option works great for filtering out consistent noise/atmosphere; not distinct sounds mind you. Great bass, the usb-C adapter is useful for all devices. My major suggestion/wish is to have the base cable be usb-C instead of the proprietary weird plug so you can just have the headset without the added adapter (s). Reliability is great too. Since I’ve downshifted bluetooth use due to increasing sound quality and decreasing RF radiation, I exhaustively searched for wired in-ears without a battery that had ANC/Transparency modes, etc. Basically AirPods Pro or Beats Fit Pro without the radiation and better sound. I found them in the Rayz Pro run by this delightful app that configures them for you. With wired headphones becoming more popular again, I hope Pioneer continues to make these and tout them. ### 5/5 — Great! *2021-07-06* I got the Rayz Pro which has the Lightning and USB-C connector and combined with this app it has been great! Very good noise cancelling, HearThru is awesome, and Smart Mute is a life changer! The fact that you can customise the equalizer takes it over the top. Once you configure things to your liking in the app, the settings are saved to the earphones which is super helpful when switching between my iPhone on Lightning and my Windows laptop on USB-C since it gives a consistent performance and functionality no matter which device or VOIP app I am using it with (eg. I’ve looked at a lot of them and the razee features urges barn and the best. The auto mute, the dimmer volume pause or when you take the headphones off automatically, and the boys isolation on your microphone. All these features just add up for one heck of a set of earbuds. The best wired earbuds on the market and this app is so robust it really drives the deal home. It’s extension allows you to charge power and use at the same time if you are Cozy at home and use your phone for extended periods. This all makes up for a being a cord. I threw all my blue tooth’s away. I wasn’t going to send 500ish for the same sound. I am a little hard of hearing.
