Not sure what happened, but in like the last six months, it has stopped connecting with our two remote stereo systems. We have to regularly delete the app and re-download it in order for it to connect. Super frustrating – the concept is awesome to be able to control your stereo from your phone. ### 2/5 — Unstable connectivity *2025-11-19, version 3.2.2* When loading up the application and attempting to connect to the receiver, you never know if it's going to go through or not. There is no rhyme or reason, and that is very frustrating. The only way to resolve it is to do a hard reboot of the phone, the receiver and sometimes both. Once up and running, the app works well. They need to learn from the designers of the iControlAV5 app. That app has SO much more functionality and the interface is beautiful compared to the new app's. It's like they designed it as barely an afterthought. Seriously Pioneer, why saddle such a beautiful, capable receiver with such a terrible remote app? When you use the app you actually get the full FLAC 48kHz/24bit. You don’t get that when you use your phone and the regular Tidal app. They just pretend to stream the master quality, but via BT or Chromecast you will actually not listen to FLAC quality.
