Being brought up where you hear so many bad backlash about cannabis...then later growing up to disappoint your loved ones by doing what isn’t up to their standards isn’t always the move.. mostly I just keep to myself and those who I now consider family who do agree and support me no matter what I do is mostly “TheWeedTube”. So many of you have opened my eyes to so many good uses.. such as health benefits, recipes, just fun hearted people who vibe good. Y’all make good laughs and nothing negative EVER! I don’t make content (not yet at least) but I followed a lot of people on social media platforms that would post cannabis related content & I constantly would wake up to their accounts not existing & them coming back a few days later completely devastated & upset about losing their profiles & not being able to trust the platforms they use anymore. The contents good and I find it very fun to enjoy while smoking alone. Unfortunately only one speaker on my phone works and I don’t own or wish to purchase headphones. I used Closed Captions(CC) a lot to watch videos. Ontop of that I also realized that TheWeedTube isnt full accessible to the deaf community because there is no option for CC. Regardless, I will continue to use this app because I love it. I can’t wait to see it open up to even more communities, and I hope to see it soon. Disappointed is all I can say. This platform has your answers to questions involving cannabis all around. Whether you're a MMJ patient looking for assistance or someone looking to laugh at some funny cannabis content. This is the place to go. ### 2/5 — App just doesn’t work *2021-09-28, version 1.9* Both the desktop version and the app basically don’t work. Sure i can watch other people’s content but if i wanna upload it i have to like 5 times and then every time i get a comment or something i try to load it up and it says i have zero views on the fresh video and 0 comments. I totally get it if the content is not working but i keep getting notifications that are either fake or not actually registering to the website. Cant be a creator if it just doesn’t work ### 3/5 — Really nice having an app. Just for weed content *2021-01-09, version 1.6* I really like using the app it works pretty good the function is solid there is a one glitch with my phone and that is whenever I get a video started and I want to stop the video or go back to the category list or the menu it completely exit out the app then I have to restart the app each time and go back through the category and go back through the menu list just to find back where I was ### 3/5 — Has potential, & enjoying most content creators, but... *2019-06-26, version 1.1* This app is needed. Let’s break the taboos and stereotypes. My frustrations are that the search results are limited, though as content grows, this will improve. But the other thing is that the ads are so frequent along with the app easily crashes, so half the time I tune in I see an ad, then have to start over, which then puts me in front of another ad before I even get around to watching anything from the content creators. ### 3/5 — Love the concept but... *2019-06-22, version 1.1* All those dang ads drives me bananas. Start a vid there’s a ad, skip a video there’s an ad, want to back up to rewatch something there’s an ad, refresh the page for any reason and you guessed it - more adds... the ads are overwhelming, over kill, just too much. Picture ads, pop-up ads and you can’t turn them off. You can skip after a few seconds on some ads but the skip option to skip will pop up within 1 to 2 seconds before the video actually ends anyway. Also, you if you like automatic video play off, it has to be reset each time you log on. The pages just have too much going on. ### 3/5 — Cool Community- Search Needs Work *2019-05-30, version 1.0* I think the idea and the community behind this app is 5 star. But every time I go to use the app I get so frustrated I end up closing it. The playback of videos and notifications work well, but the search function is just awful. I can never find the creators or the videos I’m looking for. After 4 or 5 combinations to try and find what I’m looking for it’s just not worth it. SEO and keywords need some love. I want to tell my friends about the app, so I hope this is fixed soon. ### 3/5 — Couple things. (UPDATE) *2019-05-23, version 1.0* So far the only issue I have is that my notification bell says I have 11 notifications, but when I click on it it says I have NO notifications. I’ve noticed it’s been like this since downloading. (I CAN NOW SEE MY NOTIFICATIONS BUUUUUUT WHY DO I HAVE TO CLICK THE VIDEO IN ORDER FOR THE ONE NOTIFICATION TO GO AWAY SO TEDIOUS AND ANNOYING!) Another thing, it might be my own personal issue or whatever... but the ads before the videos, what’s the point of the skip option if the video is only a few seconds away from being over anyways? ### 3/5 — Honest 🤷🏻‍♀️ *2019-05-18, version 1.0* I’m not going to go out and give this app a 5 star rating just because the creators asked everyone to and I’ve been waiting for it to come out since 4/20. There are flaws. It is not perfect. I turned my notifications on and have gotten none but I tap into the app and I have notifications. The app is slow. At the start of every video, the video is frozen for a couple of seconds on the thumbnails and it would be nice if when you click full screen, it actually flips to fill your screen. I also found that because the auto play switch is automatically on, it is inconvenient to have the app switch to the next video as you’re commenting. Aside from all this, i love it, i can’t stop watching content and I’m excited for this platform to gain the traction it deserves. Please fight to keep it up if any legal issues happen.
