It’s not a miraculous solve for app distraction/blackholes, but it’s simple and helpful enough (and very cute) that it draws me back to use it. This app screams the opposite way! colorful, playful, and (prob?) hand-drawn. There are so many little joyful things. You focus, earn coins, buy ridiculous outfits, and dress up your character! Instead of making me feel guilty about how much I got done today, it makes me want to focus for another 25 minutes because I want to buy my pirate cat a new outfit. What I like most is that it doesn’t try to do a hundred different things. It focuses on the features you actually need to stay off your phone and does them really well.
