## What is Pitch?

Pitch is the classic American trick-taking card game, also called Setback, High Low Jack, Smear, and Auction Pitch. Bid on High, Low, Jack, and Game, name trump with your first card, and race the other team to 11. Two minutes to learn, a lifetime to master.

PLAY YOUR WAY
• Find a match: get seated with live players in seconds
• Play solo: a full table of AI players, with three difficulty levels
• Play with friends: host a private table and share a 4-letter code
• 2 to 8 players, in two teams, on every table
• Quick games to 7, classic games to 11, or long games to 21

THE REAL GAME, YOUR HOUSE RULES
• 4-point Pitch: High, Low, Jack, and Game
• Stick the dealer, plus optional dealer-may-steal
• Strict follow-suit or suit-or-trump
• Score Low as captured or played

COMPETE AND COLLECT
• Pitch Showdowns: live 64-seat tournaments every Wednesday and Sunday at 7pm ET
• Ranked play: climb from Porch Rookie to the top tier
• Daily win streak bonus: your first win each day pays extra gems
• Unlock card decks, felt tables, avatars, and victory celebrations

EASY TO START
• No account needed: sit down as a guest and deal
• A guided first game teaches the rules as you play
• Practice offline against AI players anywhere
• Free on iPhone and iPad, with the same account on the web at pitch.ac

If you grew up playing Setback at the kitchen table or High Low Jack at the cabin, this is the same card game, ready whenever you are.
