## What is Pitch trainer?

Ear training, play by ear, intervals, chords and rhythm — 15 games in one app.
Warm up your ears before singing, band, orchestra, choir, guitar or piano practice.

Harmonize teaches distance between notes by making you rebuild what you just heard. Your mic picks up your voice or instrument and shows how far off you are, in cents. No music theory needed: a friendly shrimp plays the example, and you copy it.

■ Build the interval
- Double Stop — add a second note on top of a reference: octave, perfect fifth, major third and more
- Chords — take one role inside a three-note chord and hold your part
- Moon — a slow, low-gravity version of Double Stop for advanced ears
- Low Register — the real bass range, so low that a phone speaker cannot reproduce the fundamental; you read the pitch from its overtones
- Trill — hold one finger down and press/lift with another. 6 fingerings x 36 exercises

- Sight Reading — read the notes on the staff and answer on the two-row keyboard. The white keys are labeled with their note names, so you can count lines and spaces even if sheet music is new to you. 9 categories, 180 levels, 1,020 exercises

バージョンアップで単音が鳴るようになりましたが、以前のように和音だけが鳴るような設定はないでしょうか。

**Developer response:** ご意見ありがとうございます。分かりにくくなってしまい申し訳ありません。

お手本ボタン（緑）を押したときは、以前と同じように和音がそのまま鳴るように直しました。
問題が始まるときの自動再生は、構成音を1音ずつ聴いてから重ねる形のままにしています。

この変更はまだ配信前で、次のアップデートに入ります。
今しばらくお待ちください。

I’ve pretty much had this app since early 2020, and I’ve loved it ever since. I really love the additions that this app has added on especially the rhythm games, new pitch games, tuner, metronome, etc. I REALLY love this app and I can’t wait to see what can be furthermore done with this app and its possibilities.

I like this app so much and it helps me with pitch althoughI do wish the user could determine the range the pitch is in, Personally I wish I could choose the range of the bass guitar.

吹奏楽部で音程がわからなかったけどよくわかるようになった！もし出来たら、あえてユニゾンの音で音程が微妙にズレてて、これは高いか低いかっていうのを答えるっていう形式も出たらいいな思う

Crashing a lot in 2025. 

Great app for teaching/hearing intonation.

Suggestion- 1. A way to set parameter of tones (most of the examples I listened to would be too high for students to discern) More low note intervals please! 2. Different voices that more closely resemble an instrument rather than a sine wave. 3. Ad-free version with paid upgrade. I'd pay $1-3 for the app if it had some of those tweaks. 

Dislike- sometimes I get three stars for being +/- 5 cents whereas other examples its on two stars. What are the guidelines for scoring?

### 26.8.27 — 2026-08-27

The tuner now works with bass

The low E on a 4-string bass (41.2 Hz) and the low B on a 5-string (30.9 Hz) were below the tuner's range, so the needle never moved. Both are now detected.

Audio interfaces work too, even when your instrument is not plugged into input 1. On interfaces where the DI is the second input, the tuner used to hear only silence.

You can see which input is in use

The screen now shows "Input: iPhone Microphone" or the name of your interface, so you can tell whether it switched over. It follows along when you plug and unplug.

New stage: Sight Reading

Notes appear on the staff. Read them, then play them on the keyboard below. The white keys are labeled with their note names, so you can count lines and spaces even if sheet music is new to you. The fewer misses, the more stars.

Four categories are free: Around Middle C, Notes on the Staff, High Notes & Ledger Lines, and Note by Note. Beyond them wait Sharps, Two Notes, Chords, and drills built from the upper and lower ranges alone. Nine categories, 1,020 exercises in all.

No more exercises you can solve without reading

When the same shape just slides sideways, or the notes only climb one step at a time, your fingers can answer without your eyes. Every category has been rewritten so that you have to read each note to move on.

A bigger, clearer staff

The staff no longer changes size from one exercise to the next, and the lines sit further apart.

Trill practice now actually gets you to the finish

The mastery gauge counts total passes instead of consecutive ones. A single miss no longer empties it. Four passing phrases clear the exercise.

Before this, the demo could cut in one phrase away from clearing and reset the gauge to zero, and it reappeared every time your anchor finger slipped and the rhythm check restarted. Both are fixed. If you ticked "Don't show this again," the demo no longer appears on its own while you practice.

Trill is now readable in seven more languages

German, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). Screens that stayed in English — fingerings, interval names, the one-line tips — are now translated.

Fixed screens where the "Background animation" setting did nothing

In Silence, Mimic Taiko and Goldfish Scooping, the stars and lanterns kept moving even with the setting turned off.

### 26.8.10 — 2026-08-11

New stage: Ear Copy

A piano plays a short melody. Play it back on the keyboard. The trick is to follow the rise and fall by ear. One wrong note and the phrase starts over - and the example plays again, so you always get another listen. The button in the corner replays it whenever you want.

Four categories - steps, leaps, longer phrases, and starting anywhere - stay on the white keys and are free to play. Beyond them are categories that use the black keys, plus well-known melodies from Twinkle Twinkle to Fur Elise: over 500 phrases in all. The home note is a button you can press any time, so you can find your bearings again whenever the key slips away.

Polyrhythm feels better under the fingers
Pads light up the moment you press them, and their colour tells you whether the hit landed.

Fixed: Background animation setting had no effect on two stages
Scale and Arpeggio kept moving even with the setting turned off.

Fixed: Three cards showed their internal names in the card reordering screen

### 26.8.5 — 2026-08-06

New stage: Trill

Hold one finger down and tap with another, moving between two notes. Which fingers you use is up to you. Six fingerings are tracked separately - index and middle, middle and ring, ring and little, and more - so the stars show at a glance which pairing needs work. Tempos run from 40 to 80, with four rhythms per beat. What is scored is not raw speed but how even your presses and releases are.

A new feel for every button
The tap sound is lighter now, and the haptics are finer. Buttons that were missing haptics have them too.

The tutorial has been redrawn
The finger is a proper illustration, and it moves the way you really play: swipe up, lift, and start again from the bottom.

Pick your instrument for the ranking
Choose an instrument before you start a challenge. That choice stays in the challenge and never changes your everyday settings.

Chord demo restored
Pressing the demo button plays the chord itself again, as it did before. Thank you for the feedback.
