## What is Pitlane?

Pitlane is a companion app for track-day drivers who want to stay organised before, during, and after each event.

Plan each track day, prepare the car, manage packing lists, log sessions, record notes, track expenses, and build a useful history of your cars and circuits.

What you can do with Pitlane:

- Add cars with photos, details, and manufacturer logos for 23 car makes
- Create track-day events with dates, tracks, and conditions
- Keep packing lists for kit, tools, documents, and spares
- Track car preparation checklists
- Log sessions with notes, conditions, lap counts, and best times
- Record track-day costs
- Start a live session at the circuit — your screen stays on automatically while you drive
- Auto-lap timing detects laps as you go
- Share a group track day so friends can log their own sessions
- Review your history and car records
- Use optional account sync to keep data backed up

Pitlane is built for drivers who want a cleaner record than scattered notes, screenshots, and memory. It is not a race timing system, safety system, or replacement for circuit rules, organiser instructions, mechanical checks, or your own judgement.
