Slooow CS. *2026-06-28, version 1.0.73* The Pitney Bowes online presence is primitive: not mobile friendly and a challenge to navigate. The Pitney Ship app might be modern and offers supposed convenience, but it is starting to show signs that the app is not being keenly managed. The option to print the label with receipt is no longer working. The app is now printing the label on the entire sheet, not 1/2 label, 1/2 receipt. So the edges of the paper are folded to manage putting the label into the protective sleeve. Now, I had to select 4x6 Roll option—but the receipt is not an option. When keeping the receipt option, changing print option to 4x6, changing printer to 4x6, this tiny label is printed. I reached out to CS: I asked for a Live Rep because the AI CS did not provide any helpful prompts for my need. I was first in the queue. The CS Rep tried to assist (I guess). The process seemed slower than usual for IT CS—I know it takes time to troubleshoot. I told the Rep that I was ending the chat. I found that 4x6 workaround for now (and handwriting the receipt). Hopefully, tech is seeing the Error Log and will fix soon. ### 2/5 — Clunky, missing features *2026-03-10, version 1.0.68* The app is buggy as hell. All I want to do is save labels as PDFs but the app can’t do it. Instead I have to navigate three different Pitney Bowes websites just to find the option. This after continually checking the box to keep me logged in. Then, after setting up my Ship cube and adding a CC for postage, my account became locked. I used the chat feature to get help and when the agent asked me to try a website to login, I came back to the chat and couldn’t send a reply. In order to send a reply after leaving chat, you have to close it completely and reopen it. The Ship Cube is a really great piece of hardware. The app is low budget and ruins the entire experience. ### 3/5 — Omg *2024-02-01, version 1.0.39* Just make a better mobile app. With the last update now it won’t let you go further because you can click that the package doesn’t have hazardous materials so it won’t give you ship options. Now I have to do it on the computer. Just frustrating. I want to be able to print from my phone. You have to go and Google their website. I have an iPhone 12 and ease of navigating through their website on my phone is a joke. I think it’s time for this company and many other large corporations to wake up to the new technology. I am in my seventies and even I get it! First time trying to use this and it’s already broken not a great experience. ### 1/5 — Error Riddled *2025-10-16, version 1.0.64* Logged in to this app the first time in an attempt to use it for the Cube printer (because that expensive piece of garbage doesn’t work on an old or new Mac desktop, so I decided to try it with my phone), and it told me that shipping wasn’t supported on the iPhone, and that I should download this app. Download.this.app. What? This app told me that this app doesn’t work for shipping, but I should download this app for shipping. It’s a snake eating its tail. Excellent work, guys. ### 1/5 — Price???? *2025-07-23, version 1.0.61* I would really like to know how much this app will cost me before I sign up!!! ### 1/5 — Riddled with Errors *2025-07-15, version 1.0.61* I’m about ready to get rid of my Pitney Cube because this app makes the Cube not usable for me. It takes me at least 30-45 minutes to get the app to connect to the Cube every time I want to use the scale and weigh an item. Then when I go to print the appropriate stamp or shipping label the app gives me an error alert saying “Unable to process your request. Please try again later.” This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I’m so beyond frustrated that I wasted money on a stamp printing cube that requires this app to print stamps and the app doesn’t even work!! I have tried every troubleshooting trick in the how-to guides and nothing solves the problem. I’ve factory reset the Cube multiple times and I’m tired of having to troubleshoot every time I want to print a stamp. ### 1/5 — App never works *2025-03-07, version 1.0.55* We just got an email that they are raising their fee from 5% to 10% per label but the app is literally down every single day. Can we please fix the app so small businesses can actually ship their product in a timely manner. Every day this week the app has been down and it’s been an issue for the last few months as well, not sure what changed. ### 1/5 — DOESNT WORK. Stuck on login page *2025-01-22, version 1.0.54* I logged in, do successful verification code and then it goes in for a split second and then refreshes back to login page I cannot use my $500 wireless postage meter because it requires the app. The website works but I cannot go wireless. Someone frustrating I contacted tech support and they’re completely worthless ### 1/5 — So many issue with this app. *2024-11-12, version 1.0.51* Support is terrible. Know your account number. When you get locked out, it’s for the dumbest reasons. And when you hop on chat, your chats don’t always deliver. You have to go back and do an email verify every time. They are using OKTA while everyone in the world is now using Authenticator apps. When it goes down or the app is getting updated, it becomes useless. ### 1/5 — Crashes every time I Open *2024-03-21, version 1.0.40* This has been nothing but frustration. For the past three days every time I open the app it crashes immediately on login. Tech support only “escalates my case” to engineering. Don’t bother with this app. I have hundreds of packages stacking up and I have to research an entirely new solution. ### 1/5 — Free 30 day Trial *2024-02-10, version 1.0.39* This is another bate and switch. They don’t show you that there is a charge to use You download and then create an account and are told you will have a 30 day free trial ### 1/5 — Unable to connect to PitneyCube *2023-12-11, version 1.0.36* Using the app has been only a frustration and disappointment. It constantly says “Unable to connect to PitneyCube”. And you must connect the PitneyShip Cube to your phone before you can connect it wirelessly to your computer. I called the support and spent 45 minutes on the phone. 40 minutes of that time they were “verifying my account”. And don’t offer any solution, saying I have to return it. It gives you the ability to create shipping labels at the best price since you have access to USPS, FedEx and UPS with special discounts, versus going to these carrier individually. I also love printing from my phone via AirPrint. I have Slow Jam Caps that I send and this app gives you the choices of envelopes etc (even your own box). You fill out the ship form and print the label.
