### 2/5 — Recent update

*2026-08-06, version 4.21.0*

Recent update has made my walking pad very frustrating to use. Changing the speed of the pad is now clunky due to app redesign, forcing game like features instead of acting like a simple remote control for walking pad.

### 1/5 — Login no longer works

*2026-07-30, version 4.20.0*

The app is telling me to Agee to a terms and policy but there is no link for this terms and policy. The app is therefore a dead app and I can’t use it. I am deleting the app.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2026-07-29, version 4.20.0*

The treadmill, although early days, appears to work well. This software on the other hand is in my humble opinion an absolute pile of junk! Buy a plan, work with others, buy more products etc etc. I stick with the software I have.

### 1/5 — Just a big F-U for the forced download

*2026-07-25, version 4.20.0*

All I wanted to do was turn on the walking pad (Deer run Q2). But the pad will only operate after you’ve been forced to download this app and create an account.

### 2/5 — Courses (Trainings)

*2026-07-24, version 4.20.0*

I’m using PitPat version 4.20.0 on iPhone. I love the guided Course library (Running, Walking, Stretch, Muscle, etc.), but I can only access it after starting and ending a workout, then tapping “Go to stretch.” Could you please add a Courses or Training button on the Home screen so users can browse workouts without starting a run? Thank you!

### 1/5 — Just a big F-U for the forced download

*2026-07-23, version 4.20.0*

All I wanted to do was turn on the walking pad.

### 1/5 — dumbest AI ever

*2026-07-21, version 4.20.0*

How complicated and unhelpful. first review ever just to say they insist on taking over control of the speed.

### 1/5 — Why are you forcing the AI voice coach and smart pace?

*2026-07-18, version 4.20.0*

After spending quite a bit of time trying to find a way to disable voice coach and smart pace I couldn’t find any setting to turn them off. I like those features but there are times when I simply don’t want that guidance. More importantly even after disabling them during a workout smart pace is still reactivated on his own. for example I was running at 2.2 km/h and after a couple of minutes, it automatically reduced my speed to 1.1 km/h which was really frustrating. Please add a clear option to permanently enable or disable this feature, maybe within the setting area, giving userr control over voice coach and smart pace would make the app much better.

### 2/5 — Awful behavior on PC

*2026-07-18, version 4.20.0*

There was no way to turn off the notifications while my phone was charging on my laptop. I deleted the app. Dumb behavior. Have a good day and good luck to all of you with your workout goals. This wasn’t for me.

### 1/5 — AI slop

*2026-07-17, version 4.20.0*

I had to download and sign up for this awful app to use the treadmill I bought, which was not a fact that was made obvious when I purchased it. It forces you to download the pit pat app and sign up for an account to activate your warranty, which in turn activates the walking pad of the treadmill. Super predatory and the app just seems like a bunch of AI slop and wants to connect with all of your personal information. They say you can call the 800 number if you don’t have a mobile device but they still make you give away personal info to use your treadmill. I just can’t find anything useful in this app and the counts it gives do not actually seem accurate.

### 2/5 — Full of ads doesn’t sync with Apple health & fitness apps

*2026-07-16, version 4.20.0*

It gets two stars because it is able to control the speed of my treadmill. However, it’s full of so many ads and competitions that I almost don’t want to use the app. Also, I can’t find a way to cleanly sync with Apple health.

### 2/5 — AI ridden and hard to navigate

*2026-07-13, version 4.20.0*

This app came with a treadmill i bought off of amazon, and while I like the actual functions of activity tracking and projecting an avatar alongside other users, it has random games, tons of Ai-generated images, and gambling for some reason. Additionally, it’s difficult to navigate and every page feels crowded with text or designs.

### 2/5 — App is ok

*2026-07-13, version 4.20.0*

Lots of junk in the app. It also has so much going on and constantly plays music and/or sounds that sometimes shutoff and sometimes don’t.

### 2/5 — Required

*2026-07-12, version 4.19.0*

Treadmill said I was required to get this app for a warranty. Full of AI garbage that I don’t care to see. Would delete if I could.

### 1/5 — Little of Everything, A Lot of Nothing

*2026-07-09, version 4.19.0*

I really wanted to like this app, but after a month of using it, I’ve decided it is hot garbage.

It tries to have hundreds of useless features like games, leaderboards, community posts, and its interface feels cluttered and overwhelming.

I bought the treadmill to do one thing; walk while I work… and instead I’m constantly receiving messages from other users, being disconnected mid workout (and loosing hours worth of progress), and what’s worse is when I turn off Bluetooth, it prompts me to turn Bluetooth back on every couple of seconds - even when the treadmill is off, and the app is closed!

I don’t want games, chats, in person events…. I just want a clean user interface that is smooth and bug free. That shouldn’t be too much to ask for.

### 1/5 — No support doesnt connect

*2026-07-08, version 4.19.0*

Some days the treadmill decides to pair to my phone but 9/10 times it will not customer support unfortunately keeps ready my messages replying once or twice then they stop assisting so idk kind of frustrated very disappointed the app needs to be more consistent with its connection

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-07-07, version 4.19.0*

The app is cheaply made and full of adds and other junk. It is not user friendly. It’s also not accurate

### 2/5 — Ehh it’s okay

*2026-07-07, version 4.19.0*

The app has good intentions. It can be good motivation however, when I sign up for a race with a prize I’m constantly disqualified. The support team is of no help. When walking freely, I have no issues with connection or walking so it’s only when in a race.
The app is fine but don’t expect assistance if your DQ from a race. You also don’t know you’re disqualified until after you finish it too which is frustrating.

### 1/5 — Glitchy and overloaded

*2026-07-06, version 4.19.0*

I love my walking pad but this app has been nothing but trouble and a headache. First the minor issue: the interface is awful in terms of intuitive navigation. It’s so junky and app information overload regardless of where you are in the app. The major issue: SAFETY! Using the app for Free Walk is a joke when the Smart Pace feature continually engages without user input. Want to walk at a pace you set? Not with this app. Beware and be watchful.

### 3/5 — Good product, weird app

*2026-07-06, version 4.19.0*

The walking treadmill works well but I’m using this while I work. I don’t need all these weird options in the app. And I certainly don’t need it to speak to me. I’m not sure the app is relevant for the average customer using it. It has to be fast and simple to use and understand.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stupid idea

*2026-08-23, version 4.21.1*

This is the dumbest idea I’ve seen. I just want to use my treadmill in peace whenever I want to. Instead, I have to download the dumb app to be able to use my treadmill and for whatever reason, PitPat automatically connects me to someone else’s microphone so I can hear them working out. Why on earth would I ever want to hear that. The app doesn’t even work well either, my treadmill won’t even start even though it says it’s connected. What a frustrating experience and a waste of time.

### 1/5 — bad

*2026-08-23, version 4.21.1*

the absolute worst app ever, GET RID OF THAT AI COACH VOICE THING NO ONE WANTS A TREADMILL THAT TALKS TO U I JUST WANT TO WALK

### 1/5 — This App is an AI Mess

*2026-08-22, version 4.21.1*

I installed the app in order to get the treadmill to begin working. The app design is terrible and you cannot opt out of the AI. The app is too busy and oh-so-unnecessary. I deleted it as soon as I could after connecting Bluetooth.

Do better, yall. This looks like an app designed to entertain children.

### 1/5 — Can't get past welcome tutorial

*2026-08-22, version 4.21.1*

App is currently unusable because the next button on the welcome tutorial is offscreen. Not sure how I'm going to turn on my treadmill now.

### 1/5 — Nobody asked for a WiFi connected treadmill

*2026-08-18, version 4.21.1*

Why in gods name did you make me download this app to walk at my home office? It assaults you with nonsense features, unnecessary tutorials, and some gimmick about an extended warranty if you input information they already have. Just make the warranty the warranty. I would pay MORE money for a walking pad that had no association with this overengineered piece of garbage app.

### 1/5 — Absolutely NO JUST NO

*2026-08-17, version 4.21.1*

Come on guys! I know there are ppl around the world at all hours but some how, though I’m in zero groups or have connections to ANYONE on the app, I was getting a mass group chat bombardment about running and who needed recovery and their vitamin intake IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Over n over n OVER until I, half awake, scrambled to uninstall just to get some damn sleep! There is ZERO reason those conversations should be pushed to me. Least of all in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!!

### 1/5 — JUST WANT TO USE MY TREADMILL

*2026-08-15, version 4.21.1*

I don’t want to sign ip for an app. I don’t want to connect my treadmill to wifi. I don’t want an AI assistant, or a monthly subscription, or any of this other junk. I just want to use the Treadmill I already paid for. What BS.

### 1/5 — Swindlers

*2026-08-03, version 4.21.0*

Bought walking pad which needed the app. App reports warranty still active yet they refuse to help. Terrible customer service!

### 1/5 — dumbest AI ever

*2026-08-02, version 4.20.0*

How complicated and unhelpful. first review ever just to say they insist on taking over control of the speed.
Update: btw if you turn off bluetooth youll get a notice every minute that pitpat needs bluetooth. completely not using the app and getting hundreds of alerts.

### 1/5 — So dumb

*2026-07-31, version 4.20.0*

Don’t use this app- it’s so dumb. Every time I walk on it during work (I purchased to put her my desk) after I’m done the app says it detects cheating and invalidates my session. I’m certainly not cheating and walking on the treadmill the whole time.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better than expected

*2026-06-16, version 4.18.0*

Better than I was expecting it to be honestly. Makes using this stationary bike way more engaging and makes me push myself when I see other players catching up. Getting way better sessions in with this app than when I was just using the bike alone

### 5/5 — Pitpat

*2026-06-12, version 4.18.0*

Really good app

### 5/5 — Mit Werbung aber sehr gut

*2026-06-10*

### 5/5 — Love PitPat App

*2026-03-19, version 4.15.0*

Takes a while to get used to navigating around the app when you first start using it but after a week of intermittent use you get the hang of it. I love the concept, literally getting paid to exercise even small amounts is enough to keep me active. I’ve fed back that I’d like to see the points shop available for UK users too but I guess they haven’t fully expanded yet as it’s currently restricted to United States.

### 5/5 — The best!!!

*2026-02-18, version 4.14.1*

I have been trying to find the best running and cycling app for a while then PitPat came and it was the best!!!

### 5/5 — Latest Update

*2026-01-22*

Up until this point I have enjoyed using this app with my treadmill although I am still working on figuring everything out. My question is WHY and WHO thought it was a good idea to have someone blow me over or trip me while I’m walking? This feature isn’t motivational or helpful in any way. I would rethink this and remove it. I completely lost focus and felt defeated during my FREE run. It’s not a competition so why add something so demoralizing to the app!! I will change my rating if this is reversed in the next update.

Edit: This feature was reversed and I’m back to being happy with this app! Thank you for your understanding and for taking action in keeping this a motivational and positive experience.

**Developer response:** I'm glad to hear that the issue has been addressed and you're happy with the app again. However, I don't have any information on this feature or update because this is our initial conversation. But I'm happy to hear that a negative experience was turned into a positive one, and I appreciate your feedback in helping make the app better.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-01-13, version 4.13.0*

I absolutely love this app; it helps me stay more motivated! There are a few minor issues, but they’re not serious.

### 5/5 — New member to PiPat

*2025-09-16, version 4.9.0*

I love this app it motivates me to keep going and try and beat my previous scores. I look forward to working out more

### 5/5 — Made my money back on the monthly subscription

*2025-09-16, version 4.9.0*

I like this app it’s motivating. You can make money in cycling competitions, it’s kind of motivating if you’re getting some money out of it

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-09-11, version 4.8.1*

I am a big fan of the app. I bought a bike off Fb Marketplace for $80, linked up to the app, not knowing what to expect. I am now 20 lbs lighter and have made around $450 for working out!
