## Newest reviews (15 of 215)

### 2/5 — Abandoned?

*2021-12-11*

No update for years. Links to commits don’t work, reviews not editable, many crucial features of the web app missing.

### 2/5 — Latest update ruined pictures

*2020-12-17*

The last update performed screwed up the way you could add screenshots to PT. I can only add a couple pics and never add more to my “Recents” folder. This feature is essential. Please go back to the way it was before where I could just choose whatever I wanted from my photo library.

### 3/5 — Opening a story from notifications doesn’t work

*2020-07-31, version 3.8.3*

If you had a different project open and you tap on a notification, it doesn’t take you to that story in the app. Now the notification is marked as read but you haven’t actually read it. Please fix this bug. It’s been a bug for a loooong time.

### 2/5 — Where are delivered stories??

*2020-02-05*

Why can you view all stories accept the ones you want to accept or reject???

### 4/5 — Have only written because the previous review came across as unfair

*2019-08-17, version 3.7.9*

I like this software. For client purposes, I would love to be able to add time and hour estimates for my available resource. Other than it is excellent, and helps train clients on the fact that adding complexity leads to less delivery. The mobile app is usable by anyone; the web interface is too complex for business stakeholders. Please align them. Please add the ability to track ESTIMATES OF TIME, otherwise bean counters won’t take it seriously.

I have had none of the other review’s sync problems. You could get those problems if trying to work without an active connection.

### 1/5 — No longer possible to tag people

*2019-07-14, version 3.7.5*

This version of the app broke the feature to tag people on stories. It also didn’t fix any of the horrible performance / caching problems this app suffers from.

### 1/5 — Literally Unusable

*2019-05-01, version 3.7.3*

This app is literally unusable in its current form. It is impossible to read activity on tickets if it is more than a screen of text. The position jumps to different scroll positions which is infuriatingly frustrating. My company uses this so believe me I have tried numerous times to read long tickets while traveling by seeing if I can “hold” a screen in place by actively scrolling. I can’t. This product is literally unusable. And I’m not the first review to report this. It’s ironic a company that ostensibly cares so much about software development allows such massive bugs to exist.

### 2/5 — Please fix

*2019-02-16, version 3.7.3*

Serious scrolling issues / jumping around, and comments disappear while your working on them.. especially after navigating to another app and returning. I lost a bunch of creative due to the latter. Yikes.

### 1/5 — Useless app!

*2019-01-17, version 3.7.3*

This app is totally useless if it won’t accept my log-in. And it won’t accept my Google log-in. Even if I can login to Google without ANY problems. I want my money back!

### 3/5 — Desperately needs automation

*2018-12-10, version 3.7.3*

My Pivotal workflow would be vastly easier if it supported x-callback-url or Siri Shortcuts. Then I could use something like Drafts to write my stories in an easier-to-use environment and then push a whole set of them into the app at once. Without that, this is mainly useful for viewing upcoming stories that already exist.

### 3/5 — Difficult view comments in Activity tab

*2018-11-27, version 3.7.3*

When scroll to a comment in 3 seconds app always jump to other position, I cannot read. I see the bug in 6 months but many update the bug still happen.

Thank you.

### 4/5 — Age range

*2018-11-15, version 3.7.2*

I disagree with the age range being noted as 4+. My 3 year old is very easily able to manage his workspace so I think this should be revisited

### 1/5 — Excruciating slow

*2018-11-14, version 3.7.2*

I’ve been a Tracker customer for almost a decade and am looking at alternatives because they can’t seem to make Tracker fast on iOS or the web.

### 2/5 — Super slow - sync issues

*2018-09-17, version 3.7.2*

This app has a serious issue syncing data. It’s super slow and sometimes some tickets never refresh at all. It doesn’t matter how many times I do a pull to refresh or sync project, comments I know that are there are never displayed. The only reason I use the app is to see the notifications because everything else is pretty much broken.

### 1/5 — Login does not work

*2018-08-13, version 3.7.2*

Never able to log in with Google. Never got to see this app. Sad...

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2023-05-22*

I’m not sure why they would even publish an app that is completely unusable and inferior to the web version. Total fail. I would recommend they just remove it from the app.

### 1/5 — Can't add acceptance criteria to tickets??

*2022-09-26*

Let me add acceptance criteria and the ability to accept those tickets from my phone! So annoying that this isn't a mobile feature.

### 1/5 — No longer works at all

*2022-05-07, version 3.8.3*

I love PivotalTracker but alas the app no longer works for me. It is always the spinning wheel which only ever resolves into an error dialog. I’ve tried logging out & in, clearing the cache and a reinstall but nothing works. It used to work just great.

### 1/5 — Maybe the worst app on the App Store

*2022-04-26*

This app is garbage. The functionality is different than the site. Manual refresh is necessary. Notifications don’t open the correct endpoint.

It’s always been garbage, and continues to be garbage.

### 1/5 — Cant load any project or ticket on mobile app

*2022-04-19*

Whenever I try to open a ticket it just shows a spinner for 3min and then says there’s error loading. Completely useless on mobile now. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Comments don’t work

*2021-05-12*

I tried to comment on a ticket but the app didn’t display my comment even after refreshing so I posted it again, it still didn’t show up so I uninstalled the app so that I could access the web interface. Lo and behold, there were both of my comments, making me look like an idiot. I won’t be reinstalling the app.

### 1/5 — Yikes

*2020-07-28*

I try over and over to use the mobile app on iPad and otherwise. Pivotal is such a deep seeded part of my daily workflow on so many levels. This app does not do pivotal justice and if it wasn’t for my workflow at the office using pivotal by other powers that be, i would jump ship on pivotal all together. I can’t get behind a program that doesn’t use their own products.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-03-08*

Wants you to sign in but there’s no way to create an account or get started.

### 1/5 — Latest update crashing when click on story

*2019-09-07, version 3.8.0*

Latest update crashing when click on story

### 1/5 — App crashes after adding a story

*2019-09-07*

When I add a story to a project, the app crashes. When I reopen the app and tap the story, the app crashes. It seems like something is up with the current version of the app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Light experience of web app

*2020-12-15, version 3.8.3*

This app is a light version of what the web app can do. I use it at work and for my personal projects. I normally rely on the web version but sometimes use the mobile app while not in front of a computer and there is an idea I would like to flash out as a bundle of stories. Works great!

### 5/5 — Works well. Easy way to keep track of how things are going

*2019-09-17*

Functional

### 5/5 — Great tool and great app

*2019-05-10, version 3.7.3*

I use the app to manage a mini project of my own with 3 developers and the whole concept is really great. Managing a team with the agile framework is smooth a breath and the app is flawless. I will not comment on agile itself, but I wanted to really praise the team for the whole product.
I honestly use much larger project in my company with enterprise tools different than this one that our company pays a fortune which are way much more cumbersome to use.
The api and slack integration is also brilliant.
I haven’t looked if it were possible to scale easily with portfolio and enterprise agile (safe) but if that exist and I were decision maker, i wouldn’t look any further,

### 5/5 — I like it!

*2019-03-08, version 3.7.3*

I don't use the iOS app in my main flow, but I've had a great experience using it for quick tasks and looking up the status of items my team is working on. I haven't had it crash, and it feels very responsive. I'd def recommend it.

### 5/5 — Not quite as robust as the desktop app, but still impressive

*2019-02-22, version 3.7.3*

Great app

### 5/5 — Great for coop & condo

*2018-06-27, version 3.7.2*

My 8 unit coop is using pivotal to track and collaborate of projects.

### 5/5 — Great Management Tool 🙌🙌

*2017-12-28, version 3.6.2*

Great product management tool! Our team has been using it for years.

### 5/5 — Awesome, simply works

*2016-11-07, version 3.4.1*

I love the features, the UI, the workflow. Very well done.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2016-08-22, version 3.3.0*

This app is genuinely great. While simple, it provides all of the functionality that I NEED. There are areas where it could improve, like optionally estimating Bugs, and having a level between Epic and Story; but those are small things. The overall execution of this application is spot on, in conjunction with the online interface which is a good compliment and often makes it easy to make large amounts of changes in mass.

### 5/5 — Starting to use mobile over desktop

*2016-02-17, version 3.2.0*

Wow. The mobile app feels awesome.
