Però io non posso pagare 159 euro al mese per abbonamento base senza cloud. It would be fantastic… ### 3/5 — Intransparente Kostenstruktur *2025-09-18* Eigentlich bin ich sehr überzeugt von Pix4D Cloud. Aber wenn man die Kosten dafür in ein Angebot einkalkuliert, darf man nicht vergessen, die Kosten für das Credit Balance System mit anzusetzen! Ein Hinweis darauf wäre sehr hilfreich. Ich nutze Pix4D nur sporadisch, früher Pix4Dmapper. Der Vorteil von Pix4D Mapper gegenüber den Mitbewerbern war immer, dass man mit Discovery sehen konnte, ob ein Projekt funktioniert, dann eine volle Mapperlizenz mieten konnte, um es endgültig zu bearbeiten. Bei Pix4D Catch ist es umgekehrt. Man scannt draußen drauflos um dann später festzustellen, dass die 249€ für Cloud Advance bei weitem nicht ausreichen, weil dazu noch Credit Pakete in 100er Schritten dazukommen. (100 Credits sind inclusive) Wäre nicht schlecht, wenn das in der Shop-Beschreibung stünde.😉 **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your input. Thank you ### 4/5 — Almost there… *2023-06-22* Great multi function product but outputs contradict. When exporting a scan, photo geo tags are in gps (lat/lon). When exporting GCP’s, coordinates are in SPC (northing/easting). Works great when staying contained within PIX4D environment. However limits using in 3rd party software (ie Faro 3D or Leica Map 360). Having the GCP’s export in GPS coordinates as well would be beneficial to be able to use the viDoc to pickup extra points on a scene and just add them to an existing project like a total station or gnss receiver. * Using RTK and referring to csv outputs **Developer response:** Hello, Please update to the latest PIX4Dcatch version. Hellp how!? ### 1/5 — Create a account impossible *2021-07-06* You can take picture but impossible to create a account… so bo 3D… I try to create 2 account with 2 mails address… I can’t connect even when I activated my email… just losing time! ### 2/5 — Issues *2021-06-30* Upload doesn’t work for Dropbox or OneDrive. Mesh doesn’t display like past versions. Captured 640 images in a few minutes, but didn’t build an accurate model. Needs instructions or tips, and needs some bugs fixed. Also why does it export tons of files, if only the photos are processed? Good idea, but it needs improved. We have also made many ux/ui improvements, along with bug fixes. There are more support articles available to help new users, and we are continuing to listen and add more. A lot of files are needed for various needs, we can even use them for troubleshooting. Processing is not done in-app but needs to be exported elsewhere for that. Now I need to pay at least $160 a month to use the photos I’ve already taken? Pix4D’s photogrammetry engine is already garbage compared to actual reality capture software, so why did they think they could magically simplify a complex science? Waving your phone around and taking a zillion terrible pictures isn’t going to generate anything useable. Really? *2025-01-19, version 2.7.0* With the free version, they don’t allow you to download data generated with my hardware. It’s better to record a high-resolution video and extract the frames using any open-source software. Or simply use the competitors’ apps. It’s really frustrating because they used to allow it before. ### 1/5 — Expensive gold *2024-05-20* This app is extremely expensive but provides you with accurate 3d scans. I wish there was a way to export the 3d scans to a local device instead of uploading them to a cloud. ### 1/5 — Pay to use my own RTK??? *2024-05-17* Why do I need to pay $199 a month to be able to use my own RTK NTRIP corrections and my Reach RX. If I select RTK via Bluetooth, I am directed to a “pay to play” subscription portal. None of the recent YouTube videos mention this. I am forced to use my iPhone gps sensor or pay $2400 a year. I am a land surveyor. I need the RTK accuracy. Am I missing something or is this a bait and switch sale promotion. I see an update came 2 days after your review, and I wonder if it was able to provide any relief. ### 1/5 — Another app offering wishful thinking *2022-06-16, version 1.13.0* WHAT A SCAM After a few updates’, I can’t export either my PHOTOS or 3d models? The developer requires that I create an account. I DO NOT WANT ANY ACCOUNTS !!! Regardless, the app is trash as the models are of quite poor quality (and the textures are based on the embedded photos taken with a very low resolution) **Developer response:** Hi neretinus, being logged into a valid account is required to export PIX4Dcatch projects. This allows us to know who is using our app plus offers a layer of security for the user restricting who can export from the device. It is not possible to export without an account. All third-party apps are restricted to what can be accessed on the device. Currently, Apple only allows access to this lower rez imagery. Recent announcements seem to indicate this might change. Early stages with using the app, but it's does what it says and I haven't had any problems. PIX4DCatch is the perfect ground based photo capture tool. Depth images from the iPhone 12 Pro make really crisp models.
