Now he's 2.5 and he just zooms through the story on his own. He just loves it! Please make some more! The narration and animation is great, and the story is charming. The interface is simple enough that he can play it without support. You pretty much have a game board, you spin the wheel, and Parker moves that many spaces. Each space has a unique interactive game, that advances the story. Your kids can also find presents on the path, which hold t-shirts. On the main screen, your kids can change the t-shirt Parker is wearing while he finds Pixel throughout the story and games. ### 5/5 — Nice children's story *2014-12-15, version 2.2* Cute story and nice art. Deleted and re-DL'd it and its the same thing. I try it myself and it takes a bunch of tries. It's really annoying. My daughter loves this app and so do I! I finally tried to play it w/my son, but it no longer works. After the initial green page w/Spinlight in the middle, it goes directly to a blank green page & that's all. Nothing. I will append my 'rating', if it ever gets fixed. ### 2/5 — Good, but not designed for young kids *2013-12-23* This is a great app, except it was designed poorly for its target audience. It requires perfect touching and swiping and doesn't allow for multiple fingers to touch the screen at the same time. That means if my son is holding the ipad with his thumbs then the screen doesn't recognize anything he touches because his thumb is already touching it. I don't have this issue with other apps designed for his age, so it's clearly a design flaw. Likewise, the spinner requires perfectly starting right from the arrow, not swiping past or nearby. The kids love to see where the adventure will take them with each spin. We always love the apps from Little 10 Robot!
